Nicole has been doing my hair religiously for close to 9 yrs now. Prior to finding her I had bad experience after bad experience. NOBODY could understand what I wanted, but she did! She's taken me from platinum to darkest brown, to light brown with highlights, she's done half ash blonde and have my head dark, purple, red, you name it, she's done it! I will tell you this much, for those "2" reviews who were not happy. That's on you! You should have told her while in the chair it's not the color you were looking for, or whatever your issue was. I've witnessed her staying late, having her parents watch the kids longer so she could stay at the salon UNTIL you were happy! Yes you have to pay! She just spent hours on your head, and trust me she would have spent more time had you opened your mouth while there. She would never want you leaving unhappy. I didn't become a long time customer because every single time we got it right on the first shot! Hair is tricky and once bleach is involved you never know how it will lift. Hair is a gamble. It's NOT the stylist fault at all. It's how your hair cooperates.
Yes you can go somewhere else after not liking your outcome and that salon could look like a miracle salon because they gave you what you wanted, but Nicole could have also had you stayed and worked with her and was more specific. She did all the work, the next salon basically just took the easy way out and made you dark with highlights. Well if that's what you wanted from the beginning, you should have said that.
It's very frustrating because people wanna point fingers right away at the stylist when it's not their fault.
I've had other girls there also work on my hair if Nicole was not in. Not only are they all very talented and know what they are doing, but they are kind and make you feel like family.
If 2 reviews are all they have bad, I'd say they are on top! Bring pictures, be specific, and speak up while in thr chair. Don't go home, wash it, and mess with it if you aren't happy. I'd be annoyed if someone said they loved it, and left only to call from home looking for a refund. That's tacky!

They made everyone look amazing. They were so accommodating. The salon is adorable.

I would use them for all special occasions. They were so reasonable too. Nicest staff. We had a great time getting ready with all of them.

I had perfect services from Shear Glamour Hair Salon for my wedding. The entire staff especially Katrina were more than superb at completing the hair and makeup of my bridal party of 10. I would highly recommend Katrina and all of her staff at Shear Glamour to take care of any of your beauty needs.

It was the wedding of my dreams, hair, makeup and lashes was absolutly perfect! If I had to do it all over agian, i wouldnt change a thing! this salon was the best, love you guys.

Great work, we were very pleased with Shear Glamour's up do's. They also provided us with muffins and orange juice. Perfect touch. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Thanks again.

First time I came I had foils done and she did a great job with the color. First time in years I found the best color. I was going to another salon but thought I would try this one. Came back for maintenance and asked if I could have the roots and back bottom part of my hair colored the same way. Never had that done before. Did not know that the color was going or had a chance to change completely. She is the expert and should have warned me. It was horrible. Not confrontational so I left. Could not stand it so I called back and the owner removed the toner. It turned out very bright and I left again distraught and decided I was going somewhere else to get it corrected. Called back and owner is very patronizing and said she was not going to give me any of my money back and it was basically what I asked for? Seriously? She said I could come back to get it corrected and with her attitude I was not going back after spending $250 there and I did not want to fight with her. I am not confrontational. I took it as a loss and went to Alchemy Hair Studio that does color correction. She brought my original dark hair back and then put in foils for the blonde. Came out beautiful and was just happy to be able to look in the mirror again. She did all this for just $160. Just a warning. I have never been treated so badly before and talked down to by a business

This salon does not care about their customer at all. I went into this salon and told Nicole what what color I wanted my hair to be (dark ash brown) and she gave me the complete opposite! She left the bleach in my hair for over an hour (the timer was set for 30mins). She walked away doing 3 other girls hair all the the same time while she was doing my hair. My hair ended up being platinum blonde and I was totally horrified! I ended up paying 250$ for a crappy job. I called the manager Mindy and told her that I was very unsatisfied with my hair and it wasn't what I asked for. All she said "yeah that happens sometimes" no apology or offered my money back. Very rude and unprofessional. All they offered was a free toner that would darken my hair. After paying 250$ for a color that I did not ask for and a blow out it was just a waste of money. I was not even offered a free blow out as an inconvenience on their part. Never going back here again! You been warned.
