Modernly Events shocked and awed our wedding guests. We were blown away by how elevated the furniture rentals and the large signage the Modernly Events team provided. Our wedding would not have been as beautiful without their customized installations. It added a lot of character and charm to truly make the wedding space feel like "ours". They were professional, communicative and over-delivered in all aspects. We are so grateful for Modernly Events!

We had an amazing time working with Modernly for our wedding celebration in April 2022. The pieces we rented from them (dining chairs and lounge furniture) really brought our space to life. We originally booked some of their rentals for a date in October 2020, and the Modernly team seamlessly worked with us as we navigated a few pandemic-related postponements and venue changes. The pieces we rented were so unique, and Aimee was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We couldn't recommend Modernly more highly!

We highly recommend working with Modernly Events (Aimee) for wedding day rentals. She has such a wonderful collection of furniture to choose from which can help suit many different styles. She helped provide us with tables and white chiffon runners, as well as a luxurious velvet couch, chairs and coffee table for an amazing modern yet trendy lounge area for our guests. She was great with communication and recommendations based on our wedding size/guest count. She was flexible in working with us from start to finish as we came closer to the date and realized we didn’t need as many guest tables due to RSVPs. It was wonderful working with her to help execute the aesthetic and vibe we were looking for for our amazing wedding day.

Aimee at Modernly did such a great job bringing our vision to life. She has an incredible rental collection and her pieces fit into our wedding theme perfectly. She was also super accommodating when I fell in love with one of her custom installations less than a month before the event and let my modify my order to go with that instead of a ceremony arch I had rented. I also loved that she posted some install photos on the day-of so I could get excited seeing everything come to life. It was perfect!!

We got our chuppah for Modernly Events and were so happy with how it looked. We wanted something that looked art deco and was simple so it could be adorned in flowers and they had the perfect one. The price was reasonable and they were easy to work with!

Aimee was absolutely amazing. From the start, she is very responsive and easy to get in touch with. We used Aimee's expertise for furniture rentals and DIY, among others. She went above and beyond to help make our vision a reality. She created a beautiful custom alter for our mid-century modern wedding, as well as tons of other DIY decor elements. Additionally she helped finish a bunch of DIY stuff that I didn't have time to do. She is full of great ideas, truly listens to what you want, and makes sure it all comes together in the end. Lastly, Aimee is an absolute delight to work with!

Aimee of Modernly Events was helpful and attentive to my needs throughout the entire process of wedding planning. The event questionnaire she has brides fill out was a great way for me to convey my own ideas and really express what was most important to me. Aimee provided us with day-of coordination but actually took the reins weeks before the wedding so she could contact and familiarize herself with all our vendors. She did a great job ensuring everything ran smoothly and on time which was one of my biggest requests. During the reception, Aimee made sure my vendors had what they needed and when my bartender ending up running low on some supplies she found someone to get them for us. At the end of the night she made sure everyone was paid and able to leave on schedule. It was so great to have her at took a lot of weight off of my shoulders so I was able to enjoy the day instead of worrying or trying to put out fires.

In addition to coordination, we used Modernly Events for a few rentals. Aimee had a great selection of world globes which were perfect for our vintage travel-themed wedding and we used patio lights in the tent as well. The items were dropped off at the reception location several days in advance so we had plenty of time to stage and decorate the area.

I also need to give Modernly Events thanks for referring us to several other great vendors. We ended up using a photographer and photo booth rental that Aimee had recommended and both, like Modernly Events, delivered beyond our expectations.

Modernly Events completely dropped the ball on my wedding day. They were hired to provide and install chairs for both my ceremony and reception, but due to their internal miscommunication, lack of basic follow-through, and "traffic" the chairs didn’t arrive in time for the ceremony setup. I had to watch a huge part of my wedding vision fall apart in real time—all because they failed to confirm the final delivery details. Thank goodness our venue had chairs that we could use or we would have had to push back the start time significantly or guests would have had to stand.

To make matters worse, no one from their team even reached out after the fact. I had to be the one to follow up about what went wrong. When I first contacted them, Lauren, who was involved in the planning, didn’t even bother to apologize. Only after I told them how unacceptable the situation was did the owner finally respond with an apology—and even that was paired with a long-winded excuse about how their team 1) hit traffic and 2) missed an email and didn’t bother to confirm anything with my wedding coordinator until it was already too late.

As compensation, they offered me a laughable $300 refund—despite the fact that I paid over $2,000. Shocking considering the chairs missed half of the event.

Bottom line: If you're planning an event that actually matters—especially a wedding—do not trust Modernly Events. Their poor communication, lack of accountability, and unprofessionalism were inexcusable. Save yourself the stress and choose a vendor that actually takes your event seriously.

Side note: The chairs once they finally arrived, were beautiful.
