LaNesha and the entire Mixx team couldn't have been more attentive or helpful. We had an amazing bar experience and LaNesha went above and beyond to make our wedding special. I honestly cannot recommend LJ and Mixx Louisiana enough! From the very beginning LJ was professional, easy to work with and very responsive, not to mention very affordable. I knew she was going to be great, but my expectations were far exceeded when we had to postpone and then downsize our wedding. Our original wedding was supposed to be in March 2020, and with our guest list/plans in flux during the early days of the pandemic and our final payment date coming up, LJ was kind enough to let us push our payment date back a week. When we ended up postponing, she was super easy to reschedule with. When we ultimately still had to downsize our wedding, she was so incredibly accommodating and compassionate, working with me to come up with a package that fit our much smaller number and budget. All of our guests had a great time and many of them commented about how great the bartenders were. On top of all that, she gave US a gift! I really just can’t express how grateful I am to have had LJ and Mixx as a part of our wedding day!

LJ and Mixx were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. In the planning stage, communication was always easy and quick. They worked with me to figure out a package that would suit our needs (including a specialty cocktail of our own creation!) and pricing was great. My venue allowed us to bring in our own alcohol, so we didn’t need their full service option, but LJ even took the time to give me recommendations for what to buy myself. On the day of, the bartenders arrived with plenty of time to set up. Service was friendly, quick, and professional. I will certainly use their services again and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Truly, you could not ask for anything more. Hire them!

LJ and the Mixx team are the bartending staff you want for your event - seriously stop looking for anyone else. We hired them for our wedding in New Orleans on December 9, 2017 and have since received rave reviews from our guests about the quality and friendliness of the Mixx bartenders.

From the first conversation through the end of the wedding LJ was not only the easiest vendor (of over 20) we had to work with but also one of the most fun. She worked with my wife and I on adding many personal touches and ensuring we got the best value. Here's is a quick list of things that felt like she went above an beyond:
- Over 10 email back and forths regarding alcohol availability at local stores
- Infusing our vodka with black pepper and serving it with hundreds of peppers to make authentic bloody mary vodka for our bloody mary bar
- Allowing for things like speciality skewers to be delivered directly
- Never more than a few hours lag in responses to emails, texts, and phone calls
- Always ready for a phone meeting!

We set up a pretty elaborate bar for our wedding including 2 separate bars themed for the bride and groom. The bar had over 10 kinds of liquor, 4 wines/champagne, multiple beers and kegs. There were also two elaborate speciality drinks including a bloody mary bar and a kir royale bar. Everything in the end was set up beautifully by Mixx (I hope I can share a pictures soon).

During the event, the bloody mary bar was such a success that we were running out of bloody mary mix. A Mixx team member ran out and bought more in the middle of the event even though I had indicated how much we should have. I think every one of our 250 guests might have had one of the nola specialities and thats all thanks to the team.

My only complaint is that they aren't in New York because I would hire them for everything I could :)

LJ and her team were absolutely fabulous! LJ was always so professional, prompt, and helpful in her responses. We asked for a lot of unique components like a full Bloody Mary bar with all the mixins and she did an incredible job and even made infused vodka for us the night before! For a small fee, she purchased all of the alcohol for us (since this was a destination wedding for us) and also returned any unopened bottles of liquor or wine and mixers. Her team was so much fun - several of our guests commented on how friendly the bartenders were and how pleasant it was to grab a drink during our reception. Finally, Mixx is very reasonably priced for their services, especially considering how above and beyond the team goes. I would HIGHLY recommend Mixx to anyone looking for a competent, professional, and fun bartending team!

LJ was amazing and completely on point the entire night! She was extremely helpful during the whole process, including recommendations for different scenarios. I may be helping a friend plan her wedding, and I will INSIST on her hiring LJ! We also plan to have large parties in the future and we're hoping to hire her for those events as well.
