From the moment I saw Michelle's work, I knew I wanted to hire her as our wedding photographer. Even a year out from the wedding, it was clear that she truly cared about getting to know us as a couple and ensuring that she understood our vision for the big day. Her work truly speaks for itself, and to boot she is so fun and easy to work with! Needless to say, she captured our day as beautifully as I knew she would- if not even more! It's incredibly difficult to accurately convey how much Michelle meant to us during our engagement and our wedding day. There are two factors of finding a photographer that were critical to us - personality and talent. Michelle excels at both and then some!

My husband was extremely nervous and felt awkward at the idea of taking photos. But during both our engagement shoot and the wedding day, Michelle made us feel so comfortable and felt like a lifelong friend from the second we met her! On our wedding day, our families and friends couldn't stop saying how much they loved her and what a phenomenal job she did. We even begged her to stay after she was done taking pictures because we honestly just loved having her around.

When we got our pictures back - WOW. It's one thing to take good photos and capture the people in them, the scenery, etc., but she managed to capture the personalities of everyone in those photos too. Also, she was phenomenal with our tired nieces and nephews, and through the crocodile tears managed to get them to smile for just long enough that we captured some incredible shots of them with our families.

I truly can't say enough about Michelle and her work, and how flawless working with her was. I highly recommend using her for any type of photos you'd like to capture. We'll be sure to stay in touch with her so she can capture more milestones in our lives!

Being in the industry, both photo and wedding, one of the most important things to me was the photographer. I wanted to make sure that the overall mood and emotion was captured, so that when we celebrate our 50 year anniversary (at 86 and 92 years old haha) we will remember all of the details of what a beautiful day it was, rain or not, like it was yesterday. You were able to capture some of my favorite moments of the day—like when my 2 year old decided to walk me down the aisle, and when my husband cried, which was probably the only time I’ve seen him do that! He’s a pretty stoic guy, so emotion doesn’t usually surface in public, but you caught it! That made my heart swell!

You were such a joy and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for documenting our day, and making it super special and easy!

Michelle was the perfect fit as our wedding photographer. She is extremely organized and was so helpful with advice/suggestions throughout the planning process. Her work speaks for itself! We received so many compliments on our pictures. She is calm, professional and bubbly. I left the wedding day feeling like I had gained a friend. I never felt stressed or rushed for time with our large wedding party of 18 and she kept things running smoothly throughout the day. She worked so well with the second photographer that we chose to add on as part of our package (highly recommend choosing to do this if you have a large wedding party). When planning a wedding it is important to list your top three most important must haves for your big day. Timeless photos were one of the top three must for us. Michelle was absolutely wonderful from the start. My husband and I met Michelle at a coffee shop where we got to see some of Michelle’s amazing work and she was able to catch a glimpse of our personalities. Let me start by saying anyone who is not familiar to getting their pictures taken professionally this can feel uncomfortable and unnatural situation. Rests assure Michelle eases your worries and makes you feel natural, laugh and have a great experience. Another bonus was that within 24 hours she had a sneak peek up on social media of our engagement photos and they were absolutely amazing.
We had the unfortunate situation of a snow storm the week of our wedding in late April which ended up turning into a fortune, captured in the breathtaking photos that Michelle took. Michelle also went above and beyond and did everything in her power to help on our special day. Some examples of this were when the caterer forgot to set up utensils to cut the cake Michelle was running into the kitchen to get utensils. When champagne was not placed at the head table for toasts as it was supposed to Michelle ran to the bar to alert staff this was missing. The thing that is so special about Michelle is not just the talent of her timeless photos but she is a great person as well. She truly does all she possibly can to make sure your wedding day is perfect. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed booking Michelle for any event and will have breathtaking photos for a lifetime.

First of all I love Michelle. Not only because she is an awesome photographer, but in the short amount of time we’ve been able to spend with her I’ve learned that she is just an adorable sweet bubbly and fun person!!! When she walked in while I was getting my makeup done on my wedding day I was so excited to see her! She’s so much fun to have around and I just love her energy. Michelle, you’re the best!!!

OK on to her photography :) We did our engagement photos in downtown Chicago where we live on a freezing cold December day. Michelle was awesome about taking charge and getting it done!! She captured lots of awesome winter wonderland pics in the city that we used for our save the date- we got so many compliments on them!!

On our wedding day, Michelle and Ann NAILED IT! I was a difficult bride because I wanted some great photos to remember the day but I didn’t want to spend hours taking pictures. Michelle was so respectful of that. Omg her pace was completely on par with mine- she pumped through those group pics and got so many great shots!! She has the perfect personality for weddings- she’s sweet but she can also be a boss so everyone listens to her (even your groomsmen who are a few beers in!) Oh and she’s got the perfect whistle to get your giant families attention for the dreaded family photo, too ;)!

Michelle I could go on and on and on about why we loved having you. You captured every moment perfectly (and I’ve only seen the preview!), and you make your work look effortless. I’m referring you to every bride I come across because 1) they will be thrilled with your work and 2) I’ll get to see you at their weddings!

My husband and I cant begin to explain how AMAZING Michelle is! It is not hard to find a photographer but finding someone who you connect with really makes a difference! When we met Michelle we knew she would be great for us! She really went above and beyond for us capturing every second of our special day. I didn't really cry at the wedding (got close but didn't) and i even watched the wedding video and still no tears....we received our photos from Michelle and i instantly started balling! She really did get every little special moment and even got photos of us making faces (which is very us!). And might I add for our engagement photos she stood in lake Michigan in the middle of Jan! (this woman is amazing!!!). We were so pleased with our photos we have both said we don't want anyone else taking professional pictures of us unless its Michelle!
