The owner, "MG" has been a make up artist and hairstylist since 1995. She is a graduate of Morgan State University. She started her professional career with Christian Dior Parfums. MG soon branched out as a freelance makeup artist working for M.A.C., Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, NARS and Lancome. Mindy is a co-author of the wedding planning book "Wedding Planning Perfection, Tips and Secrets from Top Wedding Professionals".

With a strong desire to continue her studies, MG went on to obtain her Cosmetology license in 2005 and in 2007 MG Beauty was launched!

Since that time, MG has worked with Fox News, BET, WJLA 7, WBAL 11, CW24 and in Houston KPRC2 and KTRK13.Her work has also been seen in publications such as Rap Pages Magazine, Style Q Hair Magazine, Essence Magazine, Sophisticates Hair Styling Guide.

In recent years, MG has been seen on TV as an On Air Beauty Expert in Baltimore, DC and Houston on shows such as Good Day DC, Good Morning Washington, BMore Lifestyle and WBAL News Weekend edition. She also contributes to blogs and magazines as a beauty expert.
