Facilities and Capacity

Capable of welcoming several hundred wedding-goers, Meridian Convention Center is ideal for both large-scale and intimate events. Possessing 40,000 square feet of total event space, the property has five renovated ballrooms, all of which feature distinctive and delightful designs. Perfect for small gatherings, the Cordoba Ballroom is a popular choice for bridal showers. Ceremonies can take place in the Madrid Ballroom, a snug setting replete with ambient lighting and opulent decor. Up to 500 attendees can be hosted in the Seville Ballroom, a one-of-a-kind event space with a stage, private restrooms, get-ready rooms, and a prep kitchen. Soon-to-be newlyweds who appreciate the combination of classic and contemporary styles will surely be impressed by the Valencia Ballroom. The Grand Barcelona Ballroom is the largest event space, providing ample room for dinner and dancing. Like the Seville Ballroom, this hall boasts a stage, restroom, a kitchen, and dressing rooms.

To ensure that your marital vision is realized to the letter, Meridian Convention Center’s team offers planning, set-up, and clean-up services. You will be entitled to a range of complimentary touches, such as two hours of rehearsal time, plenty of parking space, and event security. Your caterer is free to utilize the kitchen areas. A wide variety of rentals is available, including tables, chairs, linens, head tables, and decorative lights. In addition to romantic occasions, the venue can set the scene for conferences, private parties, and corporate functions.

    Amazing experience during pandemic

    We had our family member's wedding there recently and I played the role of the wedding planner. The Venue was amazing with each ballroom having its own style and character. We had our ceremony at Madrid ballroom and the reception at Valencia ballroom. These two ballrooms were adjacent to each other and were very convenient for us to manage the guests. The Meridian team helped us with all the decorations, supply of audio and video equipment and cutlery. This made it very convenient for us and their prices were competitive. They had an extensive inventory of special event chairs and decor items, that we did not have to go out to any other rental place. They kept us in the loop regarding all the planning and things that they were taking care of, especially in view of the changing rules of the state government due to the pandemic. Their pre-event walkthrough meeting helped us immensely to plan precisely under difficult pandemic circumstances. We were also given a free two hour schedule for our wedding rehearsal dinner. They set up sanitary stations, checked the temperatures of the guests and helped us have a wonderful time while trying to keep all of us safe. It truly made it a day I will never forget. Thank you Meridian for all your help!

    Great venue and experience at a reasonable cost

    From the decor to the staff, it was perfect!" Having our event at Meridian convention center was the best decision we ever made! If u want professionalism, class & elegance, look no further.
