My wedding favors are macarons and I bought them from Merely Sweets. I tried a few places in Orange County and theirs are by far the best tasting - moist and flavorful. Contracting with them was easy. For an additional charge, they can package the macarons with transparent boxes and even put a ribbon on if you like, but I didn't purchase this service so I package the favors myself. Their macarons do vary a bit in size, but they work for the transparent boxes I bought so all good.

I ordered two cakes, macarons, personalized cookies, and cupcakes for the dessert bar at my daughter's first birthday. I highly recommended the merry berry cake. Perfection!

Merely Sweets was a pleasure to do business with. From making the tasting appointment to delivering a wonderful cake, they were fantastic across the board. The tasting itself was a lot of fun. Our wedding cakes were hands down the best cake I have ever eaten. We had the Vanilla Bean with Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla and the Merry Berry cakes for our wedding. Merely Sweets is reasonably priced and they worked directly with our venue to make the process of getting the cakes delivered easy and seemless. They made things fun, easy, and delivered a great finished product.

Tasty Sweets & just what I wanted!

My event was a small vow renewal (11 immediate family attending) and I wanted a small cake to serve as well as have available for cake cutting pictures. I found Merely Sweets through Yelp and decided to go with them after sampling their red velvet cupcake. They were also my top choice due to location was easy for me to stop in and pick up the cake on the way to reception, and ease of navigating the website and being able to see what the cake designs and prices they offered were. It was also easy to do the phone pre-ordering for signature layer cakes (this review is not for custom cake ordering process). I ordered the 6 in Merely Red Velvet and it was ready for pick up at the time I requested and was exactly as pictured on the website. What really earns Merely Sweets a 5/5 though is the fact that 3 of my family members who are not really fans of red velvet cake all loved the cake and happily took the extra cake home with them.

Merely Sweets did such an incredible job for us. Not only were they sweet & generous but took time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We loved our Wedding cake, the adorable elephant toppers and all the desserts they made for us were a hit!! (Macarons, Cakepops & Banana Pudding Shooters) Highly recommend!

I ordered nine dozen macaroons for my wedding and they gave the 10th dozen to me for free. I changed my order a few weeks after placing and they were flexible in change and adjusting my payment. the macaroons were delicious. friends of mine picked up the macaroons that they packaged very well. what i really liked about them was that they also provide a macaroon stand (at an extra charge), which saved me time and money. the only thing is that they are not the quickest at emailing back, or when you try to call the bakery itself, i got the answering machine several times before someone answered.
