My husband and I were recommended Meredith Donnelly by our wedding venue, Firehouse Chicago. Meredith's familiarity with the venue really put us at ease and helped capture some truly special moments we are still gushing over.

My husband and I are not very fond of taking photos but Meredith made us feel comfortable and fabulous the entire day. She was able to wrangle our families and friends during picture time which is impressive in itself. She also helped keep us moving along our schedule as our day of coordinator which we really appreciated in absence of a wedding planner.

In addition to capturing some wonderful pictures at our venue and the Chicago lakefront, Meredith was an absolute joy and ray of sunshine to be around. As soon as our outfits were on and the camera started rolling, our stress and worries of the day disappeared and we were able to just focus on being in the moment and enjoy our special day.

Meredith is simply the best! We worked with her for our engagement photos and our wedding day, and I'm so thrilled with all of our photos. Meredith was professional and accommodating for all our needs, while also bringing joy and creativity to the work. We are not terribly comfortable in front of the camera but Meredith does an excellent job of providing direction to get the photos you want, while still feeling like yourself! Her experience working at our venue (Firehouse) was such an asset for the entire day, but she was also happy to try out new ideas with us, like shooting at Loyola Beach. I told my husband that one of my favorite parts of the day turned out to be going offsite, just the two of us and Meredith to take portraits at the beach. We are so happy and grateful to have such beautiful memories captured from our wedding day!

Working with Meredith was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. Not only is her photography beautiful, but her her vibes were a perfect match for us and our wedding party. We’ve gotten so many compliments about how efficient, professional, and fun she was to work with from our wedding party and family. My mom’s friend wants her daughter (who lives in another state) to get married in Chicago so she can have Meredith as her photographer :)

They helped us bring to reality some of our wilder photo ideas, and were masterful at getting us to pose in ways that made for beautiful photos. Our photos truly capture the fun, the love, and the excitement on our wedding day, and we can’t wait to see our videos. I’ve never seen so many photos of my friends and family that both look beautiful and capture their essences!
