Merari is truly wonderful inside and out. She takes her time getting to know her clients so that she can deliver the best photography experience for the day of the wedding. Merari is the best. A lot of us don’t think we photograph well. She was able to bring out the best in each one of us. Done with empathy and a smile. It is a incredible skill to be able to do this unobtrusively. We all know that taking pictures in a crowd is like trying to control a bunch of children. There was no cheesy. Editorial would be a better description.

As a very visual person who’s quite picky when it comes to aesthetics, I had high standards for my wedding photos, and somehow she completely exceeded my expectations. Her work is just magical, full of natural light and all about capturing those special little moments between a couple in love. She’s also a pleasure to work with on a personal level — attentive and responsive via email, text, etc. I trust her taste and expert eye so much that I even asked her for hair and makeup recommendations when one of my vendors fell through (and wound up hiring one of her picks!). On the day itself, Merari was an absolute rock star — cool, calm and collected. Everyone in the wedding party loved her energy, and she managed to get all the pre-ceremony shots wanted most, even when we were running behind schedule. Every time my husband and I look through our beautiful photos, it feels like we’re reliving our special day. I can’t recommend Merari highly enough.

I used Merari for both my engagement photos and wedding photos- probably one of the best decisions I made. Merari is seriously magical with a camera. Simply put, Merari was more than a photographer - she was a partner for me and my husband in so many ways before and during the wedding...which was a big help since we're not "wedding people" :) From helping us schedule the logistics of the day to wrangling the masses at the venue for pictures and offering recommendations for dress accessories, Merari's insight was invaluable.

We used Merari as our photographer for a destination wedding to Florida based on online reviews and finding her Instagram page and am so glad that we did! We flew her out to Philly for our engagement photos which came out amazing - she was so easy to work with and captured us in our natural everyday setting. She was always available via email, text and phone, and leading up to our wedding she set up planning sessions. On the day of our event she and her assistant were on time and helped guide us through our busy day. Most importantly, she delivered preview of photos very quickly and her turnaround time has been exceptional!
