The best wedding decision we made was Merari

Where do I even begin to express my gratitude for Merari.. From the moment we met with her, she exuded warmth and professionalism, instantly putting us at ease. And on our wedding day, she surpassed all expectations, capturing every moment with such care and artistry.

Merari has an incredible ability to make you feel comfortable and calm, even in the midst of all the wedding day chaos. Her reassuring presence was like a guiding light throughout the day, ensuring that every shot felt natural and authentic.

And the photos are simply breathtaking. Merari has a keen eye for detail and an impeccable sense of timing, resulting in the most beautiful and emotive images we could have ever hoped for. Each photo is a work of art, capturing not just moments, but memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.

The most personalized and best wedding phtoographer!

Merari is truly wonderful inside and out. She takes her time getting to know her clients so that she can deliver the best photography experience for the day of the wedding. Her aesthetic is so bright, light, and beautiful. She is always so happy and calming, she will help you shake those nerves out of your system right from the start. She's never given me a photo that I don't like. We also did our engagement session with Merari which helped us get used to the camera and warm up a bit before the wedding! I highly recommend Merari to capture your wedding day!

Magical Day captured forever by a true artist!

Merari is the best. A lot of us don’t think we photograph well. She was able to bring out the best in each one of us. Done with empathy and a smile. It is a incredible skill to be able to do this unobtrusively. We all know that taking pictures in a crowd is like trying to control a bunch of children. There was no cheesy. Editorial would be a better description.
Our dates were changed multiple times due to Covid.Merari also did the engagement photos.
Flexible and professional. None better!
How do you capture raw joy and happiness?

Hiring Merari was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding.

As a very visual person who’s quite picky when it comes to aesthetics, I had high standards for my wedding photos, and somehow she completely exceeded my expectations. Her work is just magical, full of natural light and all about capturing those special little moments between a couple in love. She’s also a pleasure to work with on a personal level — attentive and responsive via email, text, etc. I trust her taste and expert eye so much that I even asked her for hair and makeup recommendations when one of my vendors fell through (and wound up hiring one of her picks!). On the day itself, Merari was an absolute rock star — cool, calm and collected. Everyone in the wedding party loved her energy, and she managed to get all the pre-ceremony shots wanted most, even when we were running behind schedule. Every time my husband and I look through our beautiful photos, it feels like we’re reliving our special day. I can’t recommend Merari highly enough.

I used Merari for both my engagement photos and wedding photos- probably one of the best decisions I made. Merari is seriously magical with a camera. Her photos capture emotion, small details, and are insanely artistic. She genuinely cares about her clients and offers input and guidance in almost any aspect of the wedding. She's just amazing. If you want magazine quality photos, she's your girl.

Merari is one of the sweetest, most professional, creative, and awesome people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Her photography style is incredible! She plays with natural light in a way that many wouldn’t know master. My husband and I really wanted her to capture our emotions and special moments throughout our special day and that she did. Her eye for detail, angles, and creativity really shows in our album. I hold her very close to my heart and am forever grateful for capturing our memories so perfectly.

We used Merari as our photographer for a destination wedding to Florida based on online reviews and finding her Instagram page and am so glad that we did! We flew her out to Philly for our engagement photos which came out amazing - she was so easy to work with and captured us in our natural everyday setting. She was always available via email, text and phone, and leading up to our wedding she set up planning sessions. On the day of our event she and her assistant were on time and helped guide us through our busy day. Most importantly, she delivered preview of photos very quickly and her turnaround time has been exceptional! Would recommend her for weddings, special events, and your professional photography needs!

Simply put, Merari was more than a photographer - she was a partner for me and my husband in so many ways before and during the wedding...which was a big help since we're not "wedding people" :) From helping us schedule the logistics of the day to wrangling the masses at the venue for pictures and offering recommendations for dress accessories, Merari's insight was invaluable.

Oh, and did I mention the photos came out beautifully? She has a great eye for detail and truly captured the love and joy of the day!

Merari is an absolute gem. I am so grateful she was available to photograph my bridal shower. She pays such close attention to detail and truly made me feel beautiful and special. Her photos were magazine-worthy and she shoots with gazelle-intensity to capture every beautiful moment. When she sent me the gallery, I was actually surprised that she had captured the candid moments I wasn't even aware of. Our family portraits were beautiful, detail shots were gorgeous, and overall - she captured an incredibly special day with thoughtfulness and skill. 100% recommend!!

I cannot imagine my wedding without Merari photographing it. Throughout the entire planning process, Merari was professional, intelligent, kind, friendly, and responsive. We planned our wedding in Miami all the way from New York City, which could have been stressful, however Merari made sure that it wasn’t. She FaceTimed with us several times when we had questions, and was always responsive by text and email, as well. My husband is a photographer and art director, and was very particular about who we chose, and had LOTS of questions for Merari that she answered thoughtfully and patiently. He was over the moon about our decision (as was I). On the actual day of the wedding at Villa Woodbine, Merari was calm, stress-free, and kind. She knew how to make us laugh and put us at ease. She was so sweet to my nieces and nephews and spoke Spanish to my Cuban family members. Working with her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Thank you, Merari!

We worked with Merari on both our engagement and wedding photos. Merari is so sweet and fun, exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. We are both laid back and easy going and wanted photos that focused on capturing moments, and less on styled and posed portraits and that is exactly what we got. Her photos are beautiful and captured exactly how we felt in the moment. It is really important that you like the person you are going to spending so much time with, so I highly recommend you try your best to match yourself with a personality that you would want to hang around all day! I would not have understood the importance of making sure you understand the photographer's style and that expectations are the same on both sides. Luckily for us, it was a great match and we were thrilled with our photos but now I can see how important this decision is, and how sad and disappointing it would be now that I have been through the experience, if you made a poor choice. Your photos are how you will remember the day for the rest of your lives (aside from your own memory) so trust me when I say you want to make sure to the best of your ability that you jive with your photographer. We first met Merari in person for our engagement shoot in Costa Rica and she was such a trooper and a great sport shooting photos in the hot and humid Costa Rican sun, traipsing around with her camera in the sand and the ocean. She made the shoot fun and enjoyable for us, instead of a chore and that is important when you are looking back on your photos because you will remember how you felt when they were being taken. We are so in love with our beautiful, timeless photos from both shoots and could not be happier with our choice to book Merari as our photographer!

After trawling through literally thousands of online portfolios, we stumbled across Merari's and instantly knew we wanted her to be our photographer. We planned our wedding from the UK so all our correspondence was on email or Skype. We were naturally apprehensive about not meeting in person beforehand but we needn't have worried as Merari was super-efficient, reassuring and absolutely delightful in every interaction.
On the day of the wedding she was a really calming and unobtrusive presence, all the guests mentioned how lovely she was.
The photos arrived a few weeks after the wedding and they are SO beautiful. She has a knack of making everything look magical, and somehow managed to capture the personalities of all our guests too.
Merari is a true talent and worth every penny!

Merari was an absolute gem to work with for our wedding. Because the grounds for our venue/reception were huge, we met with her in person about 2 months before the wedding to plot out and explore where we wanted photos on the wedding day. Her down to earth nature and calm personality complimented my husband's and my laid back vibe and we knew Merari was going to be perfect. The day of the wedding she was like a ninja. She was everywhere! She took an array of photos, from polaroids, black and whites, posed, and candids. Alex and I were both impressed with how smoothly she managed our giant wedding party as well as huge family. She was flexible and had foresight. The candid photos is where Merari's talents truly shine. When we finally saw our wedding pictures I was brought to tears. She was able to capture the most intimate and precious moments, for which, I am forever grateful to have a permanent keep sake of the best day of our lives. 10/10 would use Merari again.

I was such a fan of Merari's photography that I was willing to book my wedding around her availability. Given that level of hype, it would have been easy to disappoint. Instead, Merari exceeded my expectations.

Merari has such a gift for capturing human interactions. On a day that is filled with special moments, I wanted a photographer, like Merari, whose work would allow me to relive the memories of that day over and over again. And boy, did Merari deliver. In addition to our beautiful portraits (this woman is a genius with light!) Merari's photographs tell the story of our wedding. She captured every moment I vowed to remember, as well as moments that I would have otherwise missed.

Aside from my husband, Merari was the person I spent the most time with on my wedding day, so it helps that she's the kind of person you want to be around. She put us at ease, made us laugh, and helped us wrangle our families.

I recommend her without reservation!

Merari was absolutely fantastic, there is nothing negative to say about her. You really can't go wrong with her, just look at her amazing work! I was really picky about photography and narrowed it down to just a few photographers that I liked in our price range, but once we met with Merari we knew we wanted her to photograph our wedding. She captured some amazing memories at our wedding and the photos came out beautiful. Beyond the wonderful photos we really liked her interpersonally and she was also extremely fast with getting our photos back. I think our engagement photos took a week and the wedding photos only took 2.5 weeks!

It has taken me way way too long to get around to writing our vendor reviews, but it is certainly not for lack of satisfaction. Merari was recommended to us by our amazing planner, Danielle South, and she did not disappoint. Our photos came out beautifully and were even featured in several publications. In addition to being exceptionally talented, Merari and her team were affordable and an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only were able to make the most camera shy people (and by that I mean me) feel comfortable in front of the camera, they were diligent enough to make sure we got all of the photos we needed before we lost the light at our outdoor winter wedding. I would absolutely recommend Merari.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Merari and how talented she is. For my husband and I, photography was very important and Merari truly delivered some of the most stunning wedding photos we have ever seen. She went above and beyond our wildest dreams. Everyone who has seen them cannot stop telling us how much they love them. But if her talent wasn't enough, Merari is so personable and sweet which just the whole process that much more enjoyable. We can never thank her enough for our photos.

Merari is not just a photographer, she is an artist. When I first saw her work, I knew I had to have her document my wedding. I was living 4 hours away during the planning process and she even Skyped with me early on to talk about my vision. She really has a way of putting you at ease and on my wedding day, she displayed such calm and professionalism during parts of my wedding that got a little hectic for me. I am also so thankful that she drove us to a pretty park near our reception venue for some extra portraits after the ceremony. Those are some of my favorite shots and without her suggesting the idea and offering to shoot outside with us in peak of FL humidity, we wouldn't have them. When I saw my preview album, I was just amazed at her attention to detail and human emotion. Her and her assistant Ena captured photos that I will cherish forever and that I am proud to share with others. I've also seen her photos on well-known wedding blogs like Style Me Pretty and BHLDN...I am so glad she is getting more attention for her photography, very well-deserved. It also felt so good to let go and just trust a "vendor" 100% on my big day. I use vendor in quotes because I see her as way more than just that. You will too :)

Merari and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. She has such a wonderful personality that makes it so easy to work with her. At times I can be camera shy and not know what positions or poses to do and she is right there to help you and make you feel comfortable when taking pictures. Merari has the professionalism to work with large groups and makes it easy to get through the family portraits quickly. One thing I loved about Merari is her ability of hiding her since of urgency. As usual, the latino's of my family were running late which cut into our picture taking time and she held it together and got us through without stressing anyone out. Very important to have vendors at your wedding that will not stress the bride/ groom and bridal party.

Working with Merari was a complete pleasure. She met with me prior to the wedding to get to know our style and personalities and to make sure she understood what we were looking for. She was also very sensitive to any family drama and helped us work around that with no issues. I can't say enough about how amazing it has been to work with Merari. She helped me as though she was a wedding planner through my whole planning process. She answered my many questions and had great suggestions for me for my destination wedding. I truly felt like I was just hanging out with a girlfriend on my wedding day. She is SO creative, kind, and funny. My fiancé, family and friends and I kept talking about how great she was the days after the wedding. We plan to travel back to Miami on our one year anniversary for another shoot! Thanks so much Merari!!
