We knew from the beginning that finding the right wedding photographer would be one of the most important decisions and we could not have been happier with our experience working with Melanie and Manny! There are so many reasons why we love them and I want to highlight two areas.

First is their love and depth of knowledge for their craft which really shines through in the most stunning photos. From our initial engagement shoot session at Land’s End in SF to our Sonoma vineyard wedding, they had expert knowledge in all the best areas and lighting to ensure we had the most beautiful shots in a variety of different scenery. They are able to so easily put us at ease to create the most natural and dreamy shots! They are true artists that have honed their skills over years of experience and I am so obsessed with all our photos and have gotten so many compliments from everyone that has seen them.

Secondly, not only are they amazing photographers, they are truly also the most sincere and sweet people you can meet. Covid has really derailed a lot of couples’ wedding plans where we had to postpone our date 2 times, and they have been the most understanding and helpful during this time to make sure things go smoothly. My husband and I are so grateful for their hard work and the most gorgeous photos that we will treasure for a lifetime!!

I was lucky enough to find Melanie on Instagram and was immediately drawn to the soft, romantic aesthetic of her photography. Melanie and Manny are not only truly wonderful people to work with, but they are also incredible photographers. The photos of my husband and I, our families and friends, and our Napa venue turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. I have framed so many of them that I'm running out of wall space! Melanie is kind, patient and very communicative, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Although we were on a budget and had to keep our ceremony very small, they worked with us on a package that met our needs while still capturing every important moment. Finally, they are just lovely, genuine people, such a sweet couple and a great team - they added to our wedding day and felt like friends by the end of it! Of all the vendors and expenses we had for our wedding, Melanie and Manny were by far the best investment!

Manny and Melanie are the ultimate photography dream team. They shot our engagement session, as well as our wedding and rehearsal dinner. Melanie even shot my boudoir session (a sweet surprise gift for my hubby). Their soft, elegant style is so timeless and beautiful - I have yet to find anything that compares. And their commitment to the art of film makes the photos so unique and romantic. They are true artists.

Not only is their work amazing, but both Manny and Melanie were SUCH a joy to work with. SO much fun, and easy to to be around. For someone like me who is very awkward in front of a lens, I really appreciated their ability to calm, comfort and coach. They made our shoots easy and natural. Not to mention, Melanie worked OVERTIME with us to nail down the most ideal timeline to ensure we got the shots we wanted. I recently looked at our gallery, and was once again brought to tears. Yes, our photos are beautiful.... but what wows me is the way they captured the emotion our big day. Our gallery tells our story, and there is nothing more special than that.

When my now-husband and I got engaged, we agreed that one of the most important components of our wedding, and therefore an area in which we were willing to invest, was the photography. We spent HOURS over several months researching and contacting dozens of photographers, with the hope that we would find a two-shooter team with a soft, elegant, and timeless style who would also be willing to go along with our extensive, detailed wedding plan and bring elements of fun and calmness to our day. Our expectations were high, and Melanie, along with her awesome husband Manny, soared way above the rest. We came across their work by accident when searching for beautiful engagement photo locations in Northern California; upon discovering that they are located in Southern California, just south of where I grew up (they had even shot weddings at my home church), I knew I had to get in touch. Melanie immediately quashed my concerns about the distance, expressing that they are often up in Northern California and they would happily take care of both our engagement and wedding photography. After several phone calls to get to know each other and discuss options, we were elated to officially sign the contract with Melanie and Manny, a decision we never once regretted! Throughout the planning process, Melanie kept in touch to stay on top of our desires and plans so that she could be adequately prepared; we know she spent hours of her own time scouting locations that would be just perfect for our afternoon portrait session as well as golden hour. We found Melanie on Instagram and instantly fell in love with her style of photography. The softness of her photos and how she captures the emotions between moments - a quick look, a loving touch, a burst of laughter - all won us over. From the first time we met them, there was a deep trust and connection that was immediate and lasting (which fellow Type A personalities can understand is not an easy fete). Additionally, they were incredibly organized, with comprehensive planning worksheets, detailed guides, and on-going, close coordination with our day of coordinator.

They truly went above and beyond to ensure our photos would look incredible, including visiting our ceremony location at the time of our ceremony to scope lighting, as well as driving around Sonoma to find the perfect spot for our sunset photos. This dedication and time investment made us feel so valued.

We cannot say enough good things about Melanie & Manny's talents! They are the ultimate dream team! Our wedding photos we just got back last week totally blew us away. They are classic, romantic, light & ethereal, & truly captured the pure love, joy, & magic on our day.
