Mel was great on our wedding day. She went out of her way to make sure she got the shots we wanted and to make sure the lighting was perfect. She was also so energetic and upbeat while giving great directions to all of the wedding party. We can’t wait to see the photos from the wedding but loved our engagement photos so we know they will be amazing.

I cannot recommend our wedding photographer enough! From the moment we met her, she was warm, personable, and so easy to work with. She has this incredible ability to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day.

She connected so effortlessly with our family, wedding party, and guests — people were raving about her all day! It honestly felt like having a friend behind the camera who also happens to be insanely talented. She was organized, attentive, and made sure we got every single shot we wanted without it ever feeling rushed or overwhelming.

We also have a young daughter, and she was absolutely amazing with her. She captured every sweet, candid moment of our daughter throughout the day — photos we will cherish forever.

When we received our gallery, we were completely blown away. The photos are stunning — a perfect mix of beautiful portraits, emotional moments, and so many candid, joy-filled shots. When we started planning our wedding, I told my fiancé (now husband) that photography was what I would be most particular about in terms of wedding vendors. We met with a handful of photographers, all very experienced, but none compared to Mel. As soon as we had our first chat with her, we knew we had found our wedding photographer. Not only did she take the most incredible engagement photos (an added bonus we had with our contract), but she made our wedding day seamless. She made us feel at ease in front of the camera, a place we don’t normally like to be. She was able to tell us how to pose without making us look stiff and actually made the day so much fun. For the wedding day itself, she was down for all our ideas (normal day photos, sunset photos, and even nighttime photos!) During our first talk with Mel, she mentioned how important it is to find a photographer you mesh with because they are your sidekick for your whole wedding day. We couldn’t agree more and Mel made our day so special. She has the best personality on top of being at the top of her skill set of photography. We had the greatest day, laughing and enjoying time together, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Mel. We love each & every wedding photo she took for us and we fully plan to ask her to take our future family photos too as we hear she is a kid guru. Mel was an absolute dream to work with!! We extensively searched for a photographer, as it was one of the most important aspects of our wedding to us. We talked to countless wonderful photographers prior to Mel, but when we got on our initial call with her, we fell in love with her bubbly personality and excitement and instantly knew we loved her and had to use her for our special day. We got off the call and said to each other “She’s the one!”. She was so fun during our engagement photoshoot and the photos turned out wonderfully! She really captured who we were and encouraged us to bring props/wear outfits that were an accurate representation of “us”. She takes a ton of photos, which we also really appreciated. You can tell she truly loves what she does. Her friendly and fun personality really made a huge difference on our wedding day. She (and her second shooter) were so calm and sweet during the whole day. They did a wonderful job at interacting with all of the guests/families and having everyone be where they want/do what they want when they want, without ever being pushy, mean or bossy. Mel coordinated everyone with such a funny, loving demeanor. She made everyone feel so comfortable and made photos in the freezing cold fun! (January winter wedding) When I, as the bride, knew we were running behind schedule, she reassured me that everything was totally fine and she calmly took control of the situation by just switching the schedule around a bit and telling me that everything was perfect. She handled everything like a true professional! She has an incredibly eye and vision for photography and she captured our day perfectly! She is so personable and genuine and our family and friends even commented to us how amazing she was and how much they liked her. She spent a lot of time in the bridal suite in the beginning of the day, and I’m not one to really enjoy “strangers” company on one of the most special days of my life, but I seriously loved having her in there with us! She had us laughing constantly and she photographed us doing a bridal party dance party, which was so much fun. She kept me calm and happy prior to the ceremony and during the reception she always was at the right place at the right time, so we feel like she really captured every aspect of our day. Mel listened well to my many photography requests and did a wonderful job at working through sticky family dynamics. She was also so accommodating to my many changes I made along the way. Mel was truly a highlight of our wedding and my husband and I are still talking about her saying to each other “Mel was seriously the best!”. We are just so grateful!!

There is not enough words to express how much we loved having Mel as our photographer for our wedding. Mel was so quick to any questions I had for her. She made sure everything I wanted on my wedding day happened, even changing some flowers that weren't exactly how I planned.
She is so attentive to her work and only gives you the best of the best. My husband and I have always been nervous about our wedding photos because we are not the best at taking pictures. Mel gave us the most beautiful photos we could have imagined. She made us feel so comfortable with her as if we had been friends forever. She also captured the most special moments at our reception that showed how much fun our guests had at our wedding. I highly recommend Mel for all your photography needs! Mel is absolutely amazing and her photos are stunning! We truly cannot recommend her enough! She is so fun, positive, energetic, organized and so easy to work with! When we had to completely change our wedding because of COVID, so she drove all the way to our new venue (a lot farther than our original venue), took the most beautiful pictures and definitely stayed way past her contracted time because we were having so much fun! We had the wonderful pleasure of working with her again for our full reception a year later and of course she did a fabulous job! After our small COVID wedding our bridal party did not stop talking about how excited they were to work with Mel again for our reception! She always makes everyone laugh, makes you feel absolutely beautiful and is such a calming presence on a stressful day. When our shuttle didn't show up to pick us up at the hotel to take us to the venue I was very stressed and Mel called me and told me everything was going to be okay and that we had plenty of time, it was just what I needed in that moment! We LOVE both sets of wedding photos and were so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her for our "two" weddings!
