First of all, Megan was so flexible to work with in the ever-changing Rocky Mountain environment. She knew where to go, how to embrace wind or snow, and just how to catch our moments. Her pictures were so stunning that people we barely knew mentioned to friends and family how impressed they were. What’s more, we had to work with limited communication on short notice, Megan made the instructions and planning before hand crystal clear and simple to follow through on. She is absolutely the photographer of your dreams and the one you need to capture every moment in the mountains.

We had a destination wedding in Estes Park, CO and photos were my biggest priority! When searching for the right photographer my priorities were 1) someone who was familiar with the area 2) someone who captured authentic images (I wanted to re-experience the emotions repeatedly) and 3) someone who was easy to work with – Megan checked all of these boxes and more! I found her while stalking Black Canyon Inn’s IG account and knew immediately she was the one! She captured our unique venue perfectly as well as all the emotions surrounding the day.

She made the process so easy! We had an introductory call, and I knew immediately she was going to capture our day perfectly. We exchanged emails and I shared what was important to me along with some inspiration. Megan was super receptive and had a game plan to ensure we captured it all – even a super pulled back shot that she said wasn’t her style but she made it happen and it was PERFECT! She didn’t let being pregnant get in her way, she was hustling all day and got all the shots, literally hundreds of shots!

We got our sneak peeks within 48 hours as promised and we were BLOWN away! She absolutely captured everything we hoped for AND MORE! All of our friends and family are impressed by the number of photos that were captured and the quality!

I found out why Megan is so highly recommended when I hired her for my wedding at Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park. Megan went out of her way to help me as I was planning my wedding from out of town. She provided wonderful recommendations for other vendors I was looking to hire; set up flexible payments; communicated with me excellently, and made the day of the wedding a breeze. She was able to find our character in the photos and bring out the absolute best in the whole event. She is very talented and just a joy to work with, which is a rare combination. I am lucky enough to have known Megan personally and professionally for years. When I got engaged, I immediately knew I wanted Megan to do our photos. She is a phenomenal human being who has a natural ability to make her clients at ease, act naturally, and most importantly, have immense amounts of fun! Megan is fantastic! We were certain we needed two photographers for our big day, but in the end we also wanted a videographer and couldn't afford both within our budget. We asked Megan about hiring two photographers and she assured us she would be able to capture everything, in addition to referring us to a videographer who fit into our limited budget. First, our engagement photos. We wanted the perfect aspen leaves in the background but they hadn't quite turned for the only weekend we could schedule. Megan took care of that by scouting out the few patches of trees that would give the appearance we were looking for and there were so many shots that we absolutely love! When we got our photos back from our wedding day, there were points during the ceremony that I think Megan duplicated herself to get every angle. My fiance and I were both uncomfortable in front of the camera and Megan was able to get us to relax and get plenty of authentic, candid and beautiful photos. There are so many that we love that we don't know how we will choose what to frame or include in our photo albums. Megan has a great approach to weddings, she provides just enough feedback to help you take the perfect photos while also staying in the background to allow you to enjoy each moment of your special day. I would highly recommend working with Megan.
