I found Megan by luck when I was searching for a photographer for our wedding. She was such a special and fun part of our wedding day. As soon as I started working with Megan I felt at ease and confident that I had a professional, reliable, and top notch photographer. Megan had a way of making us feel as though we knew her forever and making us feel extremely comfortable. My husband and I are forever grateful for Megan making the most important day of our lives so memorable, pleasant, and beautiful. We hired Megan to photograph our evening wedding in DC, and are SO pleased with the photos!! It was raining at the beginning of the ceremony, but she was able to grab us afterwards right when it let up. Her timing and use of the space was creative and professional. We were all very impressed with what she was able to do with the lighting, fixed furniture (it was a historic building), and time constraints (we got to the venue late because of traffic). If you choose Megan, I would highly recommend having her bring along a second shooter.

Megan was absolutely amazing. She worked hard to capture sincere moments and even the "posed" photos felt natural and like us. She was flexible and worked with our ideas. She made sure to spend time getting to know us, getting to know what we wanted and if there were specific shots/poses/moments we wanted captured. We compared several photographers and the value is amazing. I like that I get images on a cd to use how I pleased and didn't have to pay per photo, or specific size or for "proofs". We will be using Megan for all our photography needs in the future and I cannot recommend her enough. If you are on the fence, just do it! It was the best investment we made in our vow renewal and I have photos I will cherish for a lifetime. Megan truly is a sweet, genuine, caring person who wants to make sure that your moments are captured and as special as you remember them.

To begin searching for the right photographer for my big special day was not going to be easy and I was looking for cost-effective but also quality. I found Megan Gerald through my older sister who had also used her for her wedding and I just knew she was the right fit. The shots were original, creative, ingenious, and she just knows how to catch the right moment. Who wouldn’t want that on their wedding day? She also worked with me and helped me find the right price for my big day.

I am entirely grateful to Megan for being so calm and cool with Mike and I as we had never done a photography shoot before or pictures together professionally ever – so of course we were nervous. Megan made us feel at ease and comfortable during our engagement session and the wedding (course we had drinks at the wedding!). I feel totally happy with my purchase and experience with Megan and everything went according to plan – even the weather.

My favorite part about our relationship is the fact that she is so down to earth. She knows how to laugh, have a fun time, make the couple feel relaxed and do what they want all the while she is catching us in the moment and being ourselves. There is nothing more that I appreciate than pictures that look natural and not staged or posed. I would definitely recommend her to my friends AND family. She was the best decision I made 

As my husband and I approach our one year anniversary, we reflect on the happiest day of our lives as if it were yesterday. We're able to do this because Megan captured everything so perfectly! Every shot has a story and we will be able to relive each and every story for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Megan for your vision and for capturing the emotion of the day so perfectly. For the bride; we specifically requested more natural, candid pictures and Megan achieved that and more. Every single one of our shots could be framed or submitted to a wedding publication. They are literally perfect.

We used Megan for our wedding last weekend and she was fabulous to work with! She brought a second shooter and knew the perfect poses for us! She made sure to stay on our timeline so we could enjoy our party! We received our sneak peak within 24 hours of the wedding.
