When I met with my florist the first time I had just a few pictures and a small idea of what I wanted (all I said was lavender and peonies). She took my ideas and made them come to life! I met with her two days before the wedding to see a sample of the bouquets and I almost was moved to tears with how beautiful they were (I mean c'mon - tears over flowers! But it's true!). MsCarthy's was a dream to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the area!

Issue with two unfriendly staff members and quality of flowers. First person I spoke to did not take my order correctly. When I called to ask for a refund, I was told the owner insisted on remaking the order, which was very nice, except that the person I spoke to told me in no uncertain terms that I was inconveniencing her by making her drive to Bear Creek, and that she was being forced to replace the flowers by the owner who says "the customer is always right." She also tried to dissuade me from having the arrangement replaced by telling me the new arrangement would not look as full as the first. I told her didn't understand this, as I had paid $45 for 6 roses and an extra $10 for blue delphinium and some cream colored flowers to fill out the arrangement, and I expected it to be beautiful. The second arrangement included 6 cheap looking roses with some purple flowers (not blue delphinium) and a lot of unattractive greenery. It was an embarrassment. I paid over $70 including delivery and I am extremely disappointed.
