I am usually very uncomfortable with having my pictures taken, or being the center of attention - so I was nervous about the photography aspect of my wedding.

I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Once we discussed the vision me& my husband had, I barely noticed Matt was there. He catered the pictures towards what I said I valued, and blended in seamlessly with the background during the wedding event.

He advised on lighting and timing of the pictures when it was appropriate, since it was an outdoor wedding. Both him and his assistant were professional and warm, which put me at ease. I actually ended up having fun through the process!

Quick turnaround for receiving the pictures, and Matt did a great job editing everything to the level that I requested. I enjoy looking back at my pictures and the memories that were captured, and plan to book Matt for future family pictures.

Absolutely a joy to work with, could not have been happier. Matt and his assistant did our wedding April of this year. We had already talked to a couple of people and when we had a chance to chat what he was all about and how he liked to handle photos and what all everything would entail, I felt comfortable leaving it with him and not stressing leading up to the wedding or the day of. We were able to talk through what little bits we might want to add or not include like bridal portraits, types of group photos, key people or points we wanted to capture, how much time we wanted him on site and whether or not we wanted to bring in an assistant. With that he was able to pull up a really well priced contract/quote for everything. Day of, Matt and the assistant were on time, checked in with me to see if there was any updates to anything we'd already chatted about, he went over a few bits about what they were going to be doing and their timing so we were able to make the best use of time. Throughout the event they got some absolutely gorgeous shots that made picking my favorites very very difficult. From the group shots to the ceremony to the reception to the exit, they caught all of the little moments that I'll treasure for a lifetime. 10/10 would recommend to anybody that was looking for a wedding photographer.

Best. experience. ever. I hired Matt for a boudoir surprise shoot for my husband during our wedding weekend. He was incredibly respectful and I felt very comfortable during the shoot. The turn around was the fastest I have ever experienced. I reached out to him about 1 week prior to the wedding and within that time frame, he fit in a shoot AND turned around the photos in 2-3 days. Overall, I would 12/10 recommend him if you're looking for a photographer to respect you and your wishes, allow you to be creative, and ultimately express yourself in the way YOU want!

We had the pleasure of working with Matt during our vow renewal ceremony in March 2023. What struck us most about Matt was that he is such a kind and respectful person, and we could tell that he was just as invested as we were in making our wedding memorable. Matt is incredibly easy to work with and very personable. It felt more like a good friend was taking our pictures instead of a vendor! We secretly thought that he must have the ability to clone himself because he captured quality pictures from literally every conceivable angle during our 4-hour event! We highly recommend Matt!!

Matt is an amazing photographer and excellent listener. I met him through mutual friends and have followed him through his career. I can say without a doubt the best decision I made when it came to hiring him for my wedding photos. He was honest, kind, and flexible. We had some changes to the size of the wedding a couple of times and he just rolled with the changes. They say if he captured over 700+ photos (mind you this was 16 person wedding so the fact we had so many made for a wonderful selection). He gave clear expectations, met with us before the wedding to discuss the details, and got the full 700+ back in two months. He provided 30 ish edited ones in the interim. He really took our vision and made it shine. I think key takeaways are: he’s reliable, flexible, and easygoing— and you cannot beat the quality. Choosing your photographer is so important, and I never regret the money I spent on him.

We had a great experience with Matt as our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos! Even though he lives out of town, he never expressed any issues with traveling to capture our special moments which was really appreciated. He always got our photos back promptly, even sending us a sample of them on our honeymoon! And the photos of course, turned out amazing and we have them displayed throughout our home now. I'd definitely recommend Matt as a photographer. He's personable and professional, so I'm not sure what else you could ask for!
