We used Matthew Hall for our engagement photos and our wedding on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He is incredibly talented - both at taking photos, imagining the right scene to capture, being creative with his shots, and giving YOU advice to make you not look terrible in your photos! Personally, I struggled having my photos taken because I feel so awkward! Matthew was great at helping me relax and enjoy the moment so that he could capture what was important - not the staged smiles, but the true moments that define any event. My biggest advice is to use him for your engagement photos, too, because you'll get a chance to know each other and work together before the wedding day! I would recommend him to anyone, hire him for any event, and invite him over for dinner because that is just how great he is. He made the inside of my head a reality - something I've never thought possible when it comes to expectations of big moments, like a wedding. Matthew is a pure professional! We hired him to photograph our daughter's wedding in March 2018. She is artsy and a bit non-traditional. Matthew listened to her and got her photographic "style."
