Matt and Teri were wonderful! Matt photographed our wedding. He was on top of everything and the photos turned out better than we could have hoped! He worked with us to fit our budget and made the whole process very easy!!!!

Everything about my experience with Matt, Teri, and Kayla (Matt’s assistant) was incredible. They had great communication, were professional but still managed to make me and my fiancé comfortable when we aren’t picture taking kind of people. We got our photos back in under 3 weeks and I am completely blown away and in love with them! It was just an all around stress free and enjoyable experience.

I live in Texas but got married in Erie near family. I just looked through photographer’s portfolios and rates online and chose Matt. I was nervous because I had no idea what I was doing, but his pictures looked beautiful and his rates were very reasonable. He and Teri set up a time to skype with me, friend me and my husband on Facebook, and really get to know us. By the time our wedding rolled around, they felt more like friends than somebody we had hired- and that’s exactly why they go out of their way like that! We were 1000x more comfortable in front of the camera with Matt because we’d known them for a year at that point. He is also really just a great, funny guy- even when I was nervous, he was making us laugh. We really just had a great time with him.

His pictures are amazing. We got married at the Warner Theatre in Erie, where the lighting is pretty dim, but with his photos you would never even know it. I was nervous about staying on time for everything and Matt volunteered to help us with that- he always came and got us when it was time for the next event or to sneak out for more pictures. And he was stern, too. My family doesn’t follow orders well but I tell you what, Matt was NOT kidding around and he got them in line! He even got a picture with me and my divorced parents. It wasn’t something I’d specifically requested, but he went out of his way to make it happen, and for that I am so grateful.

If you love black and white photos, his are second to none. He just really has a talent. And as many posed portraits he got, he had twice as many candids. None of that “client will get 50 finished images” crap I’ve seen from other photographers- he provided us with 600-700 pictures, all uploaded online to share with family (if you want), meticulously organized by his personal favorites, portraits, reception, ceremony, etc. And they were all ready within 3 weeks. I was very impressed with not only the quality of his work, but also the sheer quantity of photos that he took and how fast we got them all.

Overall, I could rant about Matt, Teri, and his assistant Kayla for hours. They truly are such good people and go above and beyond just photographing. And hey, if you don’t hire them for their amazing photography, professionalism, and work ethic- hire them for the bottle of wine they ship to you to drink when you get your photos. 😉

Matt and Teri are amazing people, they are super organized and easy to work with, the images are beautiful, I cannot recommend them enough. They are genuinely interested in how YOU envision your wedding, and I'm so glad they were part of our day.
