Above and beyond all expectations. An absolutely gorgeous venue with 5 star service and accommodations. I could not be more thrilled and thankful that we got to have our wedding here at Martingayle. They made our day everything I had prayed for since I was a little girl. From having fishing poles, a pool, a bar, and bunks for the groomsmen or guests to having the most thought through and perfect quarters for myself and the bridesmaids to get ready in, this venue has it all (even a baby calf, Tuffy, to take pictures with). Len and Maggie did everything we asked of them and more. They were amazing hosts and made the vision of our day come to life. With my husband and his family being from Montana, I wanted to have the true feel of a southern wedding, of how I was raised, and what the southern culture represents, and Martingayle delivered this and more. You can tell all the love and the detail that goes into running this place from Len and his team. Everything was pristine and thought through. We did have rain the day of our wedding, and honestly I was a little bummed because I thought we were going to have to move everything inside to where we were hosting the reception behind the main house, but Len made it clear that it was my call and they would do whatever would make me happy. Next thing I know, him and his team are helping haul some of our older guests on his side-by-side outside, wiping down pews, lifting and moving our very heavy cross for our unity candle all back outside to the area in front of the antebellum home minutes before the ceremony was set to start. It's this kind of care and service that set Martingayle apart from other venues in the area.

I could go on and on about all the amenities Martingayle is equipped with but I will just touch on a few. We had our rehearsal dinner and our wedding ceremony and reception out at Martingayle. They have several options of where to set each up and were willing to go with whatever we decided. Due to weather we ended up not using the back porch of the home, but it is just as beautiful and would be a perfect spot for a luncheon or rehearsal dinner. The reception barn is gorgeous and has a lake right off the back. The doors of the barn open up to the lake where there are cows and beautiful scenery for your guests. The barn also is equipped with a great stage for the band and multiple bars and an area perfect for catering to set up. The bridesmaids' quarters have a bar with 4-5 mirrors perfect for hair and makeup to get your best friends ready for the big day and it also has a full kitchen, laundry room, and beds for naps that may be needed throughout the long day of getting ready. And not to mention, it is also gorgeously decorated with a western style. Literally every detail has been perfected to make your day special. I can't thank Len and Maggie enough for helping host our wedding in June. We are forever grateful for the love and attention to detail they show with each wedding. Thank y'all for sharing such a special place with us. Martingayle is a true southern staple.

The venue is beautiful, owner & coordinator were amazing and great people very lovely people to work with. I loved every second I was there and they were very helpful!

The farm is full of charm. It is different from any other venue. It has somany options, especially in the event that it rains. My flowers and photographer were perfect. The available place to stay was also tops. Everything was classy and top notch. Could not have been any better for my memories of my special day.

Martingayle Plantation went beyond my expectations and provided me with the most amazing day I wish I could live over and over. We got married in October 2021 and everything was just perfect. The views from every direction are boundless and beautiful, but the feeling is quaint and peaceful. Len, the owner, was so accommodating and wanted everything to be perfect probably even more than I did! Thinking back about the full day, it was amazing from beginning to end, but, when I received my photos and video back, reliving it from the outside, it was even more amazing than I remember — the backdrop of the land, the mature trees, the plantation home, and so much more, we’re what really set everything off and brought my vision to life.
