About

The Depot off Main is a historic wedding venue located in Dothan, Alabama. The 100-year-old freight train depot was originally owned by the Central of Georgia Railroad, and has since been restored to become a premier event destination. Preserving the aesthetics of the restored vintage depot, the venue is a blend of old-world charm and modern amenities, well-suited for all occasions.

Facilities and Capacities
The Depot off Main can accommodate up to 200 quests. The venue offers two rustic event spaces for wedding receptions and ceremonies: an indoor area and an open outdoor deck. The two event spaces are connected by original 100-year-old fire doors, and they can be divided or rented as a single connected space, depending on the size of the event. The venue also has front and back rooms available to rent for accommodation for couples or their guests.

The Depot off Main is an excellent location for a wedding reception. David did an outstanding job having the venue ready and was a pleasure to work with. Our guest loved the atmosphere and provided excellent feedback.

The Depot off Main is a historic train depot that owner David has renovated and turned into an event hall.

He is a truly awesome guy and very easy to work with. The Depot is a gorgeous historic building and you can tell he loves the place.

The only downside is that it's not a massive venue, if you need a huge space.

It was perfect for my party as we had 200 guests come and go over several hours. It seats about 100 comfortably but you might be able to get a bit more.

The greatest thing about the Depot is the price ... and the fact that it includes table and chair rentals.

I wish I had a reason to rent the Depot again .... because it is awesome and so is David!
