We used Marissa Simon Photography for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and as our wedding photographer. She is incredibly talented, creative, fun, and outgoing (not many people can get my husband to have fun while taking photos but she definitely did) Besides being super fun to work with her photos are beyond amazing. We have absolutely no complaints and we will definitely be using her services in the future! ??

Marissa is absolutely amazing. I only have nice things to say about her as a person AND as a photographer. Other vendors that she has worked with before told me that she was a strong advocate for the bride, and I think that is the best way to explain it! When all our planning was falling apart she truly was able to keep it together in a professional manner. As one of my bridesmaids pointed out, getting the wedding party together for pictures was like "herding cats" but Marissa was a godsend in getting everyone organized in the pictures. Speaking of the pictures, STUNNING! I have received sooo many compliments on the pictures and I am so glad we were able to have such high quality photographs of our wedding. Marissa is truly killer at her job and I cannot recommend her enough!!

Let me first start by saying that Marissa Simon is an amazing photographer! My family has had the pleasure of having our photos taken by her a few times over the last 2 years and each time, I am blown away at the quality of the photos she delivers. Marissa is extremely passionate about photography and when she's behind the camera, her excitement radiates! She even giggles from excitement when she snaps a beautiful picture! :o) Last year, Marissa did a maternity shoot for me when I was about 8 months pregnant. I did not have maternity photos with my first child, so this was extra special to me to have someone capture this time in my life. Most of the photos were of just my husband and I, but she offered to take a few family pics as well, which included my 6 year old daughter. The photos came out absolutely beautiful and words cannot describe what my heart feels when I look back at the photos. I am extremely self conscious when it comes to seeing myself in photos, yet Marissa always knows just how to pose me so that the pictures are flattering. I have to also mention that my husband hates having photos done, but she even manages to get him fully engaged and laughing throughout the photo sessions! Needless to say, he's always happy with the end results! Marissa will not hesitate snapping photos in any environment you see fit. My maternity pictures were taken along a river in Colorado where she had to walk across large rocks to get the right angles. She didn't think twice! We had a few laughs along the way though from almost falling a time or two! Now that my family is complete with two little ones, I can hardly wait until our next family photo session! I cannot recommend Marissa enough for anybody looking for a photographer for a special event such as a wedding or anniversary/bridal/maternity shoot. She will capture every moment perfectly just the way you want it, and you will forever have those memories to look back at. I'm sure of it!

Marissa took our 2nd anniversary pictures! We were overjoyed with each and every picture she returned to us. She did a great job interacting with us and making us feel comfortable, even my crazy husband who dislikes having his picture taken. Can't wait for our next shoot with Marissa Simon Photography!

Marissa took photos of my husband and I. It wasn't our wedding but a late anniversary shoot. They were so beautiful and I loved all the shots! During the shoot, she made us feel comfortable with her and helped my husband and I to get up close and personal for those gorgeous shots that captured the love between us.

My husband and I loved working with Marissa. One of my hidden concerns was, would it feel awkward being all lovely dovey in front of a stranger, but it was like we'd known her forever and we had such a blast.. My wedding was pretty low budget but her pictures of us made it look like my dream wedding! You will not regret this investment! Your hardest job will be picking out your favorite prints because they are all so amazing!
