  We used Marissa Simon Photography for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and as our wedding photographer. She is incredibly talented, creative, fun, and outgoing (not many people can get my husband to have fun while taking photos but she definitely did) Besides being super fun to work with her photos are beyond amazing. We have absolutely no complaints and we will definitely be using her services in the future! ??

  Marissa is absolutely amazing. I only have nice things to say about her as a person AND as a photographer. Other vendors that she has worked with before told me that she was a strong advocate for the bride, and I think that is the best way to explain it! When all our planning was falling apart she truly was able to keep it together in a professional manner. As one of my bridesmaids pointed out, getting the wedding party together for pictures was like "herding cats" but Marissa was a godsend in getting everyone organized in the pictures. Speaking of the pictures, STUNNING! I have received sooo many compliments on the pictures and I am so glad we were able to have such high quality photographs of our wedding. Marissa is truly killer at her job and I cannot recommend her enough!!

  I love working with this photographer. She did our 30th wedding anniversary photos and we had so much fun. She helps you relax and laugh. It's an enjoyable experience and the end product is amazing! Love our pictures!

  Marissa has done our family portraits for the past 3 years, the reason we keep going back to her is Marissa's passion for her clients. She gets to know you on a personal level and makes sure you are comfortable ever step of the way. This relationship that she build really shines through in her photography. Marissa took extreme care to capture our family in true form. Unlike other photographers I have worked with who tend to rely on poses, Marissa allows for the perfect shot to shine through naturally. She is also very professional, outlining everything in her contract to make sure we completely understood her services and was able to have a quick turn around on our edited photos. She will definitely be our family's photographer for years to come, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer.

  We just loved working with Marissa Simon. She was warm, friendly, and very professional. She helped my husband and I feel at ease and we had fun on our shoot, not to mention, stunning pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime. Would definitely recommend.

  Marissa took our engagement pictures, and they turned out more beautiful than I could ever have imagined! She was so easy to work with and flexible. And she had our pictures to us super quickly! Would definitely recommend her and use her again.

  Marissa took photos of my husband and I. It wasn't our wedding but a late anniversary shoot. They were so beautiful and I loved all the shots! During the shoot, she made us feel comfortable with her and helped my husband and I to get up close and personal for those gorgeous shots that captured the love between us.

  I am so so so very glad Marissa did my wedding photography!!! I had no idea what I was doing when I was looking for a photographer, I didn't really know the questions I should ask or the ranges that I should expect. I just knew that I had a budget. We were married at Mansion by the Sea in Aransas Pass, and they provided a list of vendors to look into, including photographers. Well, the photographer we were mainly interested in on the list was booked, however, they recommended Marissa to me. And can I just say, from the first contact with her to the day she came for the wedding, she was the nicest, most courteous and sweetest person. She gave me access to some of the weddings she had shot and worked with our budget. When it came down to choosing between her and one other photographer, her personality, pictures and competitive offer led us to choose her.
  BEST decision EVER. Marissa gave us between 600-700 (?) photos, and they were all edited. Other photographers mentioned they would edit just a few hundred. I have no idea if that is industry standard or not but I just have to say that I cannot believe how amazing ALL of our photos are.
  I have so many great pictures, it's been 7 months and I still cannot decide which ones to put on canvas and hang in a wall collage.
  It was such a pleasure having Marissa do our wedding, she came prepared, on time, brought assistance and was very efficient. I have to say, I pulled a list of 'formal' pictures from the internet because I didn't know what all i was supposed to ask for. That's the only thing, she should have told me that list was way too long! I felt bad as I only realized this about half way through but not only did she say, "OK" lets roll, she was hell bent (in a good way) to make that list of shots happen before she lost the light at sunset. Success. TONS of family formals. LOL. More than necessary. Oh well, everybody feels special :)
  Marissa and her work are both stunning, I would recommend her in a heartbeat!!

  From the moment I met Marissa she just spoke such sweet words and with so much enthusiasm. Her and I became great friends, her family is so wonderful and she is such a special person in my life. Her gift of photography is amazing! She has so much passion and does her work with such professionalism. Her attitude towards everything and everyone is always positive. On days you feel ugly she brings out the beauty. She is so talented and I highly recommend her to all out there! Not just because she's my personal friend but because she is just such a light to everyone!!! Thank you Marissa!!!

  My husband and I did a maternity/anniversary shoot with Marissa and had such a great experience from the get go! In addition to being sweet and witty, she was so helpful. One of my hidden concerns was, would it feel awkward being all lovely dovey in front of a stranger, but it was like we'd known her forever and we had such a blast.. My wedding was pretty low budget but her pictures of us made it look like my dream wedding! You will not regret this investment! Your hardest job will be picking out your favorite prints because they are all so amazing!

  My husband and I loved working with Marissa.   Let me first start by saying that Marissa Simon is an amazing photographer! My family has had the pleasure of having our photos taken by her a few times over the last 2 years and each time, I am blown away at the quality of the photos she delivers. Marissa is extremely passionate about photography and when she's behind the camera, her excitement radiates! She even giggles from excitement when she snaps a beautiful picture! :o) Last year, Marissa did a maternity shoot for me when I was about 8 months pregnant. I did not have maternity photos with my first child, so this was extra special to me to have someone capture this time in my life. Most of the photos were of just my husband and I, but she offered to take a few family pics as well, which included my 6 year old daughter. The photos came out absolutely beautiful and words cannot describe what my heart feels when I look back at the photos. I am extremely self conscious when it comes to seeing myself in photos, yet Marissa always knows just how to pose me so that the pictures are flattering. I have to also mention that my husband hates having photos done, but she even manages to get him fully engaged and laughing throughout the photo sessions! Needless to say, he's always happy with the end results! Marissa will not hesitate snapping photos in any environment you see fit. My maternity pictures were taken along a river in Colorado where she had to walk across large rocks to get the right angles. She didn't think twice! We had a few laughs along the way though from almost falling a time or two! Now that my family is complete with two little ones, I can hardly wait until our next family photo session! I cannot recommend Marissa enough for anybody looking for a photographer for a special event such as a wedding or anniversary/bridal/maternity shoot. She will capture every moment perfectly just the way you want it, and you will forever have those memories to look back at. I'm sure of it!

  Marissa took our 2nd anniversary pictures! We were overjoyed with each and every picture she returned to us. She did a great job interacting with us and making us feel comfortable, even my crazy husband who dislikes having his picture taken. Can't wait for our next shoot with Marissa Simon Photography!
