Our whole day was planned out well in advance and we felt very confident on the day. On our day, she was on top of everything and 2 steps ahead of anything that we were thinking. My husband and I were lucky enough to work with Marisa during our wedding era and her work continues to blow my mind. We did our engagement shoot with her and she also photographed our wedding. The pictures are beyond what I could have expected, specifically at her competitive price point. She completely understood the vibe we were going for and executed perfectly. Hiring Marisa for our wedding was the best decision we made in the whole planning process! Besides taking the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen, she made everything so easy, was extremely patient with us, and always made us feel excited and confident! Writing a recommendation for Marisa is both hard and easy at the same time. Hard because there are sooo many ways to describe Marisa in so many wonderful ways, and there aren't enough characters available to grasp how amazing she truly is - Easy, because she's well... the best! We instantly connected over The Office and our love for our dogs. She plays such a key part in the day and I have to admit, although my day was not exactly perfect (it spontaneously rained constantly throughout the day even while the sun was shining LOL), she made everything SO seamless! We took advantage of the sun, dry spots, timing in-between rain showers. Prior to the wedding, she is with you every step of the way. She helps with day-of timelines (which let me tell ya... YOU NEED TO DO THAT.) She also has you fill out a questionnaire of allllll the details you might not have thought of. Like getting ready locations (yeah, you think of those - but when do you think about telling vendors?). This was something that I was able to cross off my list without doing anything additional. And on the day of, she communicated if my husband and I were taking longer than anticipated for greeting tables. This was huge because all I wanted to do was dance for as long as I could. She knew this was important and didn't hesitate to step up when we were starting to get off track. Granted this is YOUR wedding day, but she's been to a few weddings here and there LOL. She knows what works, what might be more difficult, and how to obtain all your goals for YOUR special day. She is the 'YES' person you need to complete your special day. Want to do a photo dash? She'll make time for it. Want to bring your pet along? She's down. My mother made my dress, and she was extremely worried about whether or not my dress would be "fluffed" correctly, or if the veil was going to be twisted. Marisa instantly took all the worries from her and allowed my mom to enjoy the day along with everyone else.
