We held our pre-wedding dinner at the City Club (on the 3rd floor banquet room of Center Tower) and had an absolutely magical evening! The room's in-built decor (not to mention a grand piano) was absolutely beautiful, and Candace Miller was absolutely wonderful to work with and very accommodating of our vision to turn the night into an Indian-style sangeet event. Thank you again, Candace!

My husband and I were so glad we chose the Marina City Club for our wedding ceremony and reception. Candace Miller and her staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was memorable and special. We received multiple compliments on the food and how well-timed the entire night was from the ceremony through the last dance. There was plenty of room for our guests to mingle after the ceremony while the reception room was prepared. What an amazing place to have a wedding!

From the moment I walked into Marina City Club, I knew I wanted to have our reception there. You can get the whole third floor, which includes a bar, cocktail area, and beautiful ballroom. I loved that you could see some of the marina/sail boats, because most of our guests would be from out of town. And considering the location and the fact that it's in LA, we thought it was pretty affordable. Especially compared to other places we had looked!

I've been to a lot of weddings and one thing that most of them have in common is the food tends to be kinda meh (typical for weddings). Not at Marina City Club. When my husband and I did our tasting we couldn't believe how good the food was (and quite the variety for the buffet!). So many people at our reception told us how great the food was, too. So huge plus!

Honestly though, the part that deserves the most recognition is Candace, the coordinator for the venue. She is seriously amazing. So on top of everything, organized, and super nice. A few weeks before the wedding I was being a normal bride and starting to worry that anything and everything would go wrong, but each time I met with/talked to Candace, I felt instantly at ease.

I would definitely recommend the Marina City Club for a wedding reception!

On our wedding day we didn't have time to think let alone worry about the small details that in turn are very big! Candace is absolutley AMAZING! she did everything for us! she was always 10 steps ahead of us. Anything we needed it was already done! Candace is the nicest, kindest, personable person I've ever met. Candace is so accommodating and puts up with my scatterbrained self! i could not of done it with out her!

We loved our reception venue, and working with Candace was the icing on the cake! She coordinated everything with my wedding coordinator the day-of, and she really worked with our budget. (The nominal deposit was a plus!) Their food was delicious (our guests still talk about it to this day), and the room looked amazing! We had an evening reception so the backdrop of the marina, and the added touches such as the drapery hanging from the ceiling and tealight candles around the windows, made for a lovely atmospehere. We will never forget our wedding day, and we are forever grateful to Candace and the MCC staff for being gracious hosts!

Our wedding was over a year ago and I am still hearing rave reviews about the food and the venue. I would recommend this venue for anyone. Candace is the best.

From the moment we walked into the Marina City Club, my husband and I knew this was where we wanted to hold our wedding reception. The layout is amazing; a perfect cocktail hour space, a beautiful dining room with a fabulous dance floor, elegant lighting that makes the space shine, and windows overlooking the marina. The biggest selling point for us, however, was the restaurant/buffet manager Candace. She was professional, friendly, accommodating, understanding, and not to mention, so much fun!! Candace is always looking out for her clients by constantly improving the restaurant and décor to fit every brides dream! She's prompt and responsive to every question and concern, all while ensuring everything is how you want it. She arranged for us to drop off the decorations and cake on Friday night, giving us one less thing to worry about the morning of the wedding. By the time we got to our big day, we knew she'd make sure everything was perfect for us; and it was!
Candace had set up a beautiful sheer curtain to separate cocktail hour and the dining room; which led to a grand entrance. Once we sat down to dinner, Candace made sure we had time to eat, which was great since the food was incredible. Our guests thought it was more like a fine dining meal, as opposed to, other wedding food they had before! Throughout the night,
Candace routinely checked in with us, and my parents, to make sure everything was running smooth and what we wanted it. Our guests showered us with compliments regarding the venue, setup and food; all which is a testament to the hard work and commitment Candace gives to her clients. I would recommend this venue to ANYONE that asked because we had the most amazing experience, and the wedding of our dreams! Thank you Candace for making this all possible! We miss you!!

My daughter's wedding reception was PERFECT!! The entire journey with Candace, from the initial meeting to the final week of the wedding was a joyous venture. The ease of mind with what the day would look like, the flexibility of working with our other vendors (flowers, DJ and cake set-up) was GREAT!. The chef, all of the servers, and valet service seemed to be cut from the same mold as Candace, as every person did an excellent job and treated us with class and a joyful spirit. The food was AWESOME, our guest are still talking about how delicious the food tasted, and they were so organized in managing a buffet for 250 persons. I'd highly recommend this beautiful venue and would come back again in a heartbeat for our next special celebration. Hat's off to Marina City Club, managed by Candace Miller.

100% recommend! go talk to Candace, and she will work with you! This place is like a little hidden gem. it is NOT your typical square hotel ballroom with no windows. this place is gorgeous, classy and sophisticated! and surprisingly affordable! They can cook anything, not just boring dry chicken. We did Mexican food and it was absolutely fabulous. People were talking about it for weeks afterwards! so worth every penny!

The Ceremony out by the pool was amazing. It was a beautiful venue for an outside wedding.
The food at the reception was spectacular. Chef Jesus out did himself with the food, and Gabe and David did a great job at the bar.
Candace the Banquet manager was so easy to work with and the staff were great. Never had any issues with any of the personnel.
I highly recommend brides and grooms look at this venue for both Ceremony and/or Reception.
