Marilyn was great to work with and reasonably priced - especially compared to other quotes I received. I found a picture of a cake on Pinterest and she was able to replicate beautifully. The cake was very moist and tasted delicious. Our guests really enjoyed the look and taste of the cake, they are still talking about it!

Marilyn's Cakes was one of the easiest and low maintenance decisions I made during our wedding planning process. I met with her once for a cake tasting, showed her a picture of the cake design I had in mind, picked my flavors and didn't have to worry about anything else! The cake was delivered to our reception and was so beautiful and it tasted great!! Marilyn makes the best cakes!!! My wedding cake was beautiful and delicious!! We went with the raspberry filling and it was amazing! Our venue packed up the (little bit!) of cake we had left and I devoured it later at our hotel room! Marilyn was wonderful to work with. We met with her once and it was great to be able to just know everything was taken care of. She works closely with McHale's (our venue) and so she was able to drop it off whenever. Loved Her!

Our wedding cake was not only priced reasonably (best in the area), but also tasted great and looked wonderful. We had our groom's cake done by another company (who also do a significant number of wedding cakes (more than Marilyn)) and while it looked great, it was not nearly as moist as our wedding cake. Marilyn is a sweet woman and very laid back yet efficient. This made her one of the easier vendors to coordinate with. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a delicious cake that looks elegant.
