Maria is the absolute best!! From our engagement shoot to our wedding she was incredibly responsive, helpful, kind and fun to work with! Not to mention she is extremely talented! She was so helpful on our wedding day; helping to keep things running smoothly, supporting us and bringing her calm presence to a busy day. We are spreadsheet people, and we definitely had a spreadsheet going when it came to selecting a wedding photographer. Not only is it a significant cost, but you don't get a re-do, so you want someone you can trust. We didn't want overly-posed pictures, and we didn't want to feel like we were performing for a camera - we just wanted someone to help capture the memories of the day in a really authentic way. And that’s exactly what we got with Maria. We loved her documentary style and the warm feel of her photographs. Both the engagement shoot and the wedding album turned out so, so beautifully. On top of that, she was super flexible when our dates changed and we moved venues, even though that involved more travel for her. Hiring Maria for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. As part of her wedding package, she included an engagement shoot so she could get to know us as a couple and make us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Maria and her husband/second photographer, Jonathon, are extremely professional but also blended in so seamlessly to our day. She knows all the good poses, angles, and lighting to make the pictures look fantastic. They came out better than I ever could have imagined. I would hire her again in a heartbeat, and look forward to working with her again in the future.

Love. Love. Love. Beautiful pictures! We hired Maria de Forrest for family pictures (15 of us!) at the beach in Rehobeth. The pictures are so, so beautiful. She asked lots of great questions to figure out what we wanted. She picked the right time, the right location, and got so many pictures that we have a too many to choose from. Will hire her again and I recommend her to anyone in need of a true professional.
