This resort-style community, open to the public, features a 28,000-square-foot New England–inspired clubhouse with refined architecture and sweeping views of the Arthur Hills Championship Golf Course. Facilities and Capacity
Heritage Shores offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to fit your vision. Host an al fresco ceremony on the stone patio with wooden pergola, a grand reception in the Grand Ballroom, or an intimate gathering in the clubhouse itself. With room for up to 300 guests seated/400 guests for cocktails, you’ll find flexible options for everything from rehearsal dinners to farewell brunches.

Located in the heart of Southern Delaware’s Culinary Coast, Heritage Shores is proud to deliver menus that rival fine dining. The team—led by Chef Christopher Rodgers, Kyle Langsner, Director of Food & Beverage, Thane Grimes, Banquet Manager - work closely with each couple to design a personalized experience. Whether you envision cocktail parties with custom mixology, butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, or full dinner service with plated meals, buffets, or strolling receptions, your guests will be treated to a feast they’ll never forget.

The staff at Heritage shores was amazing to work with. The day was overcast & threatening rain up until the ceremony & they were in constant contact with the bride and groom about their plan. They were friendly, but professional. Keeping the day on schedule, but allowing the bride to have full control. During the photos after the ceremony, they reminded us with the time in a friendly way. Some venues stand over us and wait around, but they just came out with our 10-minute mark and we were able to capture the bride and groom in a stress-free, fun & beautiful atmosphere. The staff during the reception were phenomenal and always making sure that we knew what was happening next, making sure we had food and drinks and so friendly, always. A really great venue, all around!

Working at Heritage Shores is truly a joy for us. Not only is it a beautiful place to have your outdoor ceremony but the ballroom is one of the few in our area to hold a large wedding. The staff is fantastic and we are always treated so well. I don't hesitate in recommending them to our couples because I know that they will be very pleased with the service they receive. Absolutely top notch!
