Maple Dale Country Club, a wedding venue located in Dover, Delaware, harbors a fascinating history. In fact, at one point the yearly stipend per 100 acres of the land was one bushel of wheat. At another time, it was owned by Owen David in the early 1700s. Presently, it is owned by one of his descendants. Over the years, this property transformed into a country club complete with an eighteen-hole golf course, clubhouse, swimming pool, and tennis courts. While the club has a membership, couples who are not members are welcome to use the facility and land for their bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception.

Facilities and Capacity
On your big day, you will get to enjoy the beautiful ballroom with up to 200 of your friends and family members. Natural light permeates the space, giving your ceremony the perfect glow. Couples and guests will also be able to gaze out on not only the golf course from this site, but also the natural landscaping of the Maple Dale Country Club. As its name suggests, the ballroom provides a wonderful setting for celebrating your big day. You are welcome to bring in a DJ or a live band and spend the night enjoying the company of your guests while dancing the night away. If you are planning more of an intimate ceremony, you are welcome to use the St. Andrews Room. Like the ballroom, this space provides gorgeous golf course views. The St. Andrews Room can accommodate up to 90 seated guests. Your other option is the Pine Valley Room, which can accommodate up to 32 people. Here in the Pine Valley Room, you and your guests will also have access to the outdoor patio area.
