Makenzie is the absolute best (and so is her husband Noah!). Let me start this review by saying that we had booked another photographer who had great reviews and seemed like they would deliver everything that we wanted. We did our engagement session with our first photographer and we just didn't mesh well. Additionally, the photos that she took didn't look like an engagement session but rather a family session in the park. This is a special time in our lives and we really wanted to capture that love on camera and she didn't deliver. being about 6 months out from our wedding and having to switch photographers it was very stressful to say the least. I came on wedding wire and went through pages and pages of photographers and was about to give up and told myself "just one more page" And that's where I found Makenzie. I had a little bit of trust issues and was skeptical due to our latest experience with the last photographer, and Makenzie just put me completely at ease. She's so professional, experienced, and truly I feel that we've gained a great friendship from this entire interaction. The day of our wedding I knew that I had absolutely nothing to worry about after we got our engagement photos back. She had captured us, exactly who we are, and she exceeded all expectations on the wedding day as well. We have now found our lifetime photographer and I'm actually hiring her a couple more times this year for various things! Seriously call her, Skype with her, get to know her! I will recommend her forever. My entire family, wedding party, and guests were coming up to me asking me where I found her and if she was willing to travel for their stuff. She's THAT good.

Makenzie is the most down to earth and humble person I have ever met. She took me in not only as a client but as a friend and provided amazing hospitality and professionalism when I came time for the wedding and making sure every detail was right. Makenzie and her husband make and awesome team and my photos are something I will cherish for a lifetime.

Once I met her, I knew I had to book her. From meeting me for coffee to go over her packages, to our fabulous engagement session, ending in our amazing wedding day, Makenzie was such a blessing through it all. Makenzie is an absolute joy to work with! We were so lucky to find her! She worked with me on short notice and was so easy to communicate with. I have never been comfortable with having my picture taken but Makenzie put my husband and I both at complete ease throughout the entire process. She fully captured the vision I described to her...and then some! Absolutely recommend!

We used Makenzie four our engagement pictures and I literally could not have been more pleased. We LOVED them and so did everyone else!!
