The Lakehouse is an eclectic and historic restaurant/venue and catering company which serves as the backdrop to some of the most unique and amazing events including weddings, birthdays, rehearsal dinners and any occasion that life's celebrations bring about.


We offer full-service catering tailored individually for each event. Whether it be a plated dinner for 25 or a wedding for 300, we can create something unique for you and your budget.

We provide on- and off-site catering so if you're home or an alternate location has a more special meaning for your event, we're happy to discuss providing our services wherever your celebration may be.

Amazing Venue and Experience!

Chloe', the Director of Sales, was fantastic. She guided us through the entire process and was always extremely attentive. The rest of the team on the day of the event was wonderful as well.

I can say with certainty, the most beautiful venue on the NorthShore. Chloe, the sales manager, answered all of pricing and contract information. They worked with us to personalize our menu. The food was absolutely delicious. Ashley, the Director, made the whole day seamless and worry free, she also helped with rehearsal run thru as well as decor. The staff are very friendly and very professional. A true gem in Mandeville. So glad we choice them

Lakehouse did a wonderful job catering our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. They are professional and made everything so seamless. Everyone enjoyed the food so much. I would highly recommend them.

They were amazing- the food was amazing- the service was amazing!! Without them our wedding day would have never come together. Their food was amazing and they made sure me and the groom ate and even made us our own plates and chased us down to give them to us!! I could never say enough positive things about the people at The Lakehouse!

I had my wedding at Maison Lafitte on August 5, 2017 and yes it was rainy season but the staff was awesome and still made everything happen. I knew I was taking a risk but the staff there knew exactly what I wanted and made sure my big day didn't get ruined by the rain. I couldn't have asked for anything better I absolutely loved the venue and staff. My big day turned out perfect even with a huge rain storm just hours before the ceremony.

The Lake House was a gorgeous location and the food was amazing. Sometimes it is hard to communicate with these guys, but great experience overall.
