Facilities and Capacity

After opening its doors in Ascension Parish in 1973, Cabin & Courtyard Events quickly became a premier wedding venue in the region and remains so to this day. Whether you envision an intimate ceremony and reception with 40 loved ones or a grand soiree with 400 guests, this venue has the spaces to match. The Courtyard is ideal for an intimate ceremony under soft fairy lighting on warm evenings. Alternatively, exchange vows in the historic Schoolhouse, built in 1865, or in the chic Garconniere. All of these spaces are also excellent as reception sites, and you can also choose from the rustic-chic Cabin, the General Store (built in the 1850s), and Bernadette's 1940s Home.
