The choice to host our wedding reception at Mahler Ballroom was the first, and probably the best decision we made about our wedding. The ballroom itself is absolutely stunning, our guests were so impressed by the venue alone. Then the Bridal and Groom suites were equally incredible, and the perfect backdrop for all of those getting ready photos, not to mention it was so convenient to have everyone getting ready together in the same place. However, far and away the best part about having Mahler Ballroom host our wedding reception was our coordinator Jasmine. We chose to have Mahler/Jasmine handle all of our decor elements because we were doing everything long distance from our home in LA, and I’m so glad we did!!! Jasmine was amazing, she completely exceeded our expectations. I gave her all the information of what we were going for and she really took the ball from there and made it happen and come together more beautifully than I could even imagine. If you are considering Mahler Ballroom for your event, seriously look no further. Jasmine is incredible, the entire staff were so lovely, I cannot recommend them more highly and we looked at over 16 venues for our wedding. I’m telling you, they are the best the in St. Louis.

Guest will remember this venue! I held my daughter's wedding reception at the Mahler Ballroom. It was simply beautiful, elegant on its own. The separate bridal / groom suite was spacious & was easy for everyone to get ready together without the bride & groom seeing each other prior to the wedding. The outdoor patio was spacious.
More importantly ... was the help & guidance from Ken and Jasmine. They returned every call, was professional, patient, understanding and truly cared. I could not have done it without them.
I would recommend the Mahler Ballroom without reservation for any occasion!

I love that we stumbled up on Mahler and has been the only place we have visited and picked. So satisfied and we haven’t had our ever to yet. I love the staff. I love the decor. You really don’t have to do much! I love this place. Blessings to them! 🙏🏽

We had a wonderful experience with the Mahler Ballroom. Everyone was very accommodating and very responsive. Monica was a lifesaver and very reliable. Maybe you guys should include a fee for cleanup. Just a suggestion.

From the moment I saw a picture of the Mahler Ballroom on their website, I knew that on my next trip to St Louis (I planned my wedding long distance - 1,000 miles away to be exact...) I simply had to see this beautiful space. Upon first glance, it exceeded my expectation, and inspired my choices for the creation of our day. It spoke to my every need: it is elegant, theatrical, and with an impeccable dance floor; it has historical significance to the city and is of an era ( circa 1907) that resonated for my event, which honored dance, theatre and the city's history . We utilized the ballroom for both our ceremony and reception, and the staff transformed the room in a matter of minutes. The owner and managers Marsha and Don couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful in working with us and with our wedding planner in coordinating the details of our wedding. Although there is no kitchen per se, the catering manager had an opportunity to visit the space and consider the service details. The rental of the ballroom does include tables and chairs, and bar packages are available. Catering and other rentals, as well as service hours will need to be supplied from one's caterer. I enjoyed working with the team at Mahler so very much, that I would consider this unique spot the quintessential St Louis special event venue. It was perfect for us, and a dream come true. I just fell in love with the Mahler when I first saw it. It is an elegant old ballroom with chandeliers, ornate crown molding, and beautiful wood floors. It is not the cheapest venue out there, but it is totally worth the money.

Mahler was great to work with, and provided a gorgeous venue. All of our guests loved the location, the wood floors are beautifully refinished, and they were really helpful as we finalized plans.

I'm not sure that we could have picked a more elegant and beautiful space to have our reception. Marsha was wonderful to work with and was always willing to answer the (many, many) questions that we had. She even threw in some lights for us for free since we did buy the lighting package. Our reception was absolutely beautiful and ran very smoothly!

All that being said, the ballroom is rather pricey. While the rental is a bit pricey, don't even let me get started on the prices of the bar package that you are required to purchase. We just did a soda bar and it was $7 a person.

Overall, a beautiful, stunning place to have your reception. But you will have to pay a little bit more for it.

Mahler Ballroom is a beautiful venue in the heart of the city. We chose this venue because of location and it did not disappoint! The ballroom is not the cheapest option and only comes with tables and chairs. We had to purchase our own table cloths and chair covers for the entire room. You are welcome to have your own caterer which is nice! Their bar packages are nice and the bartenders were fun. The owner came down and was rude to some of our guests including my parents which was a turn off... Marsha is the lady who runs the ballroom and she is very sweet but extremely forgetful. Up until the month before our wedding she was nothing but flexible and helpful, but the month became flakey and confusing. She also made the entire wedding stop so she could mop the floors which was embarrassing. Overall we were very pleased with the Mahler Ballroom, I would suggest getting things in writing and if you are having a rowdy party like I did, be aware of the party being halted at times.
