Whenever I talk to someone about our vendors for our wedding, the person I recommend first is Kara! My partner and I could not have been luckier to get to work with her on our invitations. When we look back at the wedding planning process, designing our invitations with Kara was truly one of our favorite parts. We have never worked with someone who was so kind, understanding, skilled in their craft, detailed oriented, and wonderful to work with. Kara met with us multiple times over Zoom and sent us full invitation suits guided by our preferences and interests so that we could physically feel and see what invitations could look like. We went back and forth over custom options and designs and specific colors, and Kara was thoughtful, responsive, and creative at each turn. We loved our invitation suite and will treasure them forever!

Our wedding was in August, and we still can't get over how beautiful our save the dates, formal invites, and day of paper goods were! When we started to plan our invitation suite and day of paper goods, we had a pretty unstructured vision of what we were hoping to accomplish. After our initial meeting with Kara, she was able to find a way to make our vision a true reality. Our initial meting with Kara was over an hour on a Saturday morning, in which she took the time to hammer out our vision for the invitation suite. In working with her, it was evident that her eye for quality is unmatched. She presented amazing options and went above and beyond in helping us design everything, including the Chicago skyline for the envelope liner. She was organized and made the process easy for us, as she kept us on track every step of the way. She even assembled our invitations in record time to make sure we were able to send them out in a timely manner.
In working through the day of paper goods, Kara was always more than willing to talk through ideas on calls and through email. She went above and beyond when we needed to make any edits and adjustments. Furthermore, when we were cutting it close on getting our day of paper goods and welcome sign on time (which was our fault), Kara made sure to prioritize that they were completed on time. Lastly, everything turned out AMAZING, especially the welcome sign, which again included the Chicago skyline and truly was a stunning way to welcome guests to our wedding. We could not thank Kara enough for her amazing design ability and skill - She added SO much to our wedding and would recommend working with her to anyone!!

One of the biggest praises I can provide is to her character and personality. During the craziness of the pandemic, our original venue closed. She had created this incredible customized suite with intricate hand-drawn details for this original venue, but when this venue went into foreclosure, she did not hesitate to jump into action and create a brand new suite, completely customized for our new location. This speaks to Kara's genuinely wonderful personality and caring heart (add that to the list of reasons to work with her!).


Our paper goods from Magnificent Milestones were some of the most magical pieces of our wedding, and each component took guests' breath away. Please do not hesitate to work with Kara, you will love every minute of it and have keepsakes to treasure for the rest of your life!
