Whenever I talk to someone about our vendors for our wedding, the person I recommend first is Kara! My partner and I could not have been luckier to get to work with her on our invitations. When we look back at the wedding planning process, designing our invitations with Kara was truly one of our favorite parts. We have never worked with someone who was so kind, understanding, skilled in their craft, detailed oriented, and wonderful to work with. Kara met with us multiple times over Zoom and sent us full invitation suits guided by our preferences and interests so that we could physically feel and see what invitations could look like. We went back and forth over custom options and designs and specific colors, and Kara was thoughtful, responsive, and creative at each turn. We loved our invitation suite and will treasure them forever! -

Our wedding was in August, and we still can't get over how beautiful our save the dates, formal invites, and day of paper goods were! Kara nailed every piece, and we are so thankful to have had the chance to work with her throughout the process. She helped us from start to finish with creating a vision to execution. We were blown away by her work, keen attention to detail, timeliness, thoughtful suggestions, and overall caring demeanor. Most Incredible Experience!
Kara is organized, talented, and a true joy to work with! She created the classiest invitation suite, wedding programs, and cocktail napkins for our special day.
One of the biggest praises I can provide is to her character and personality. During the craziness of the pandemic, our original venue closed. She had created this incredible customized suite with intricate hand-drawn details for this original venue, but when this venue went into foreclosure, she did not hesitate to jump into action and create a brand new suite, completely customized for our new location. This speaks to Kara's genuinely wonderful personality and caring heart (add that to the list of reasons to work with her!).
Our paper goods from Magnificent Milestones were some of the most magical pieces of our wedding, and each component took guests' breath away. Please do not hesitate to work with Kara, you will love every minute of it and have keepsakes to treasure for the rest of your life!

We worked with Kara for our wedding in August 2019. She was absolutely amazing. She had also done the wedding invitations for my sister's wedding in downtown Chicago 6 years prior. She has an uncanny ability to understand the vision that my husband and I were looking for our downtown Chicago wedding. She was able to provide us with reasonable priced personalized invitations, as well as individualized menus, seating cards, wedding ceremony programs, and best of all, our wedding welcome bag itineraries. She was very available and open to suggestions and opinions that my husband and I had, and worked very close with us and our wedding planner to ensure that we had the design and colors that matched our wedding vision. We would absolutely recommend her and her company Magnificent Milestones to any couple planning to marry. -

Working with Kara at Magnificent Milestones for our invitation suite and day-of paper was a dream! She ran the design meetings effortlessly and is incredibly knowledgable about all things paper. We were able to customize just about every detail until it was absolutely perfect, down to the exact style of certain letters and custom cut sizes - no request was too small and she worked with us until we were 100% satisfied. What resulted was a gorgeous, cohesive paper suite that we will save copies of forever! Thanks Kara for a great experience! -

Our invitation suite was gorgeous and truly unique. Many couples are trimming the budget on invites nowadays and I think it's a shame. MM is worth every penny! Working with Kara at Magnificent Milestones was one of the most rewarding and joyful parts of our wedding planning journey. As a Chicago bride planning a creative black tie wedding, I was looking for invitations that felt truly bespoke—and Kara absolutely delivered. She’s warm, collaborative, incredibly communicative, and so generous with her expertise. From our very first meeting, I knew we were in excellent hands.
She was honest about what was worth the splurge versus where we could save without compromising on the final look, and she never once made us feel like just another client. Her energy—even over email—was contagious and made me feel more excited and less stressed during the planning process. I loved getting to meet with her in person (a huge perk of working with a local vendor!), and I always felt like she was genuinely invested in making our vision come to life.
Our invitations are absolutely stunning! We’ve received so many compliments about how unique, beautiful, and tailored they are. From our envelope liner to the RSVP card details, everything was personalized and thoughtfully designed. Kara made something truly timeless for us, and we are so grateful. Katy Sent on 09/07/2016We did a lot of research in regards to our invites and who to go with. Kara and Sarah were so wonderful to work with and really helped us stick to our budget. Our original design was about double what we wanted to spend, but Kara came up with a much more cost-effective way to get our point across. It is so easy to spend extra when it comes to paper, and Kara really kept us in check to stay in budget. I loved our design and it truly was a collaboration!
