At the opposite end is a stage suitable for concerts and other venues. Madison Hall is handicap friendly via a ground floor ramp with an elevator from the first floor up to the second floor ballroom. The hall can accomodate up to 400 people....less for a sit down recetion. This historic building, built in 1865, was the courthouse of Madison County New York until 1909 and then became The New York State School of Agriculture and is listed in the National Register of HIstoric PLaces. The environment creates a perfect setting for any event.

An old courthouse lovingly restored (and constantly being restored) to it's current incarnation was the perfect backdrop for both an intimate evening family ceremony and the sun-filled midday celebration with our extended families that followed the next day. The contact for the Association, Bob, is incredibly knowledgeable about the property and with the help of his wife will help you thru the in's and out's during your time there.Sent on 06/19/2010
