Mitasha did an amazing job with my makeup - it lasted all night, photographed beautifully, and most importantly, she truly listened during my trial and thoughtfully refined the look based on my preferences to ensure it was perfectly tailored to my face and comfort level on the wedding day. She made me feel so confident and cared for, and even surprised me with the cutest makeup aftercare kit, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Sush was just as wonderful with my hair. She took the time to understand my vision and worked with me to create the perfect hairstyle that complemented my face shape and truly felt like me. My hair had volume and the most gorgeous curls that held perfectly all night - through dancing, photos, and everything in between.

It was truly incredible working with Mitasha and her team. As someone who usually wears very light makeup and had only had my makeup done professionally like this once before, I was really nervous that I wouldn’t like the end result. I had the absolute best experience with Mitasha Singh for my engagement and reception makeup in the Bay Area. From the start, she really took the time to understand what I wanted and somehow turned my vision into exactly what I had pictured in my head, if not better. Mitasha and her team did my hair and make up for my wedding day and draping it was so easy and smooth. They were great and my veil did not move all day! Mitasha and her team were incredible from the bridal trial experience through my wedding weekend. I have eczema and am allergic to many skin products, which often results in hypopigmented skin spots. During the bridal trial, Mitasha blended different foundations to ensure coverage of the different pigmented spots. She was extremely attentive and sensitive to my skin issues/insecurities, and because of her, I felt incredibly confident in my skin during my wedding weekend. All of my girlfriends complimented my makeup, saying it looked flawless, and honestly, I felt beautiful. Mitasha was also very easy to work with. She made changes based on how I felt and reassured me that I should be happy with how I look and that my opinion is what mattered most - I really appreciated her transparency in saying that and making sure I knew that I could use my voice. I also want to shoutout her colleague, Sush, who did my hair for all the events. Sush was terrific - she worked with the inspo pics I shared, and her execution was even better than those pictures! I also highly recommend her for saree draping. Sush did the draping for my Grah Shanti/Ganesh puja, and all the aunties complimented on how perfect the draping was. Lastly, Mitasha and Sush also did the hair and makeup for my mom and sister. They were definitely worth the investment for the quality service we received.

She helped me adapt my style depending on the vibe and feel of my outfits and events. In fact, on my wedding reception night, Sush used her creative energy and decided to add the most fashionable touch to my look by putting pearl appliqués in my hair…and the look was jaw-droppingly gorgeous. As someone who has been a part of more bridal parties than I can count, I’ve never had such a wonderful experience with a wedding makeup artist team before. I asked for a soft glam look, and the execution was flawless.
Mitasha’s team is also incredibly adaptable and flexible, always ready to find a solution when something unexpected happens.
On my wedding day, there were some mishaps with my reception outfit, and Sush saved the day by using her handy stitch gun and figuring out a solution. If it wasn’t for her, I would’ve had no solution but to scramble to find another outfit to wear.

I had a vision for each of my own looks and for my mom and sisters too—a total of 15 looks! They helped me prep and purchase everything I needed in advance so I could just enjoy the day-of.

The weekend of, not everything went according to plan, but their team rolled with it with total ease. Jess re-did my winged liner when I realized I didn’t love it. Priya had just returned from maternity leave and took on my event like a pro—staying extra to make sure me, my two moms, and two sisters were all pinned to perfection. She styled my Gujarati panetar chaniya choli beautifully and then transformed my black halter saree look into the coolest, sexiest vibe.

Mitasha and I had a great trial that made my day-of makeup a breeze. She picked the perfect lip color and even gifted me a kit with full-sized products just for me. Prati and Sush were total hair magicians—no extensions needed, just volume and elegance. They even touched up my mother-in-law’s makeup and redid my sister-in-law’s hair on the spot, even though it wasn’t part of the plan.

They truly went above and beyond. I’m so, so grateful for this team. Thank you, thank you!

Mitasha and the rest of her hair/make up team were incredibly professional and fun to work with for the entirety of my Indian wedding weekend. They were able to execute such unique and different looks for my mehndi, haldi, wedding ceremony and reception events with ease. As someone who is not very well versed in make-up, and only sent inspiration pictures, I felt Mitasha and her team outperformed anything I could have imagined for myself. They were open to suggestions, were honest with me when they thought something would not look good, and were timely with their execution. One of her team members even went out of her way to help drape a sari of mine, since I was running a tad late, even though we did not hire them for this service. She also gave me plenty of supplies to keep my make up looking fresh throughout the day from extra powder, to lip gloss to an extra set of lashes. I cannot say enough great things about her and the rest of the M-Sutra Bride. I would recommend them to any friend or family member of mine in a heart beat. I only hope I have the opportunity to work with her again in the future.
