Since Sean and I are from Texas and were getting married in Melbourne Beach, we weren’t able to meet with Dona beforehand or have a rehearsal. Even so, she arrived an hour early and took the time to personally prepare us and make sure everything was organized and that we felt comfortable. Her attention to every little detail was truly wonderful.

Our ceremony was short and intimate, but Dona made it feel incredibly heartfelt and personal. I had shared a little about my family and my dad, who passed away, and she thoughtfully incorporated that into the ceremony. My brother-in-law walked me down the beach in my dad’s place, which was a very emotional and meaningful moment for me, and Dona handled it with such warmth and sensitivity.

She was professional, kind, organized, and genuinely caring. She helped make our beautiful beach wedding everything we hoped it would be. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant and would wholeheartedly recommend Dona to anyone looking for someone who will treat their ceremony with care and make it truly personal.

From the very beginning, Dona went above and beyond. I had posted a question in a local wedding Facebook group, and although I wasn’t even looking for an officiant at the time, she reached out simply to answer my questions and offer helpful advice. Her kindness, genuine willingness to help, and friendly personality are what ultimately made us choose Love Is a Beach Wedding for my daughter Chelsea and Miguel’s ceremony.

Throughout the entire planning process, Dona was incredibly responsive, always getting back to us quickly and making herself available whenever we had questions. She was patient, accommodating, and truly listened to everything Chelsea wanted. Whenever there was a concern or an idea, Dona offered thoughtful solutions and did everything she could to make Chelsea’s vision come to life—from helping with the vows to creating beautiful decorations for the ceremony.

The ceremony setup was absolutely gorgeous, and you can tell she truly cares about making each wedding special. In addition to officiating, she also provides decorating services, making the planning process so much easier. She even offers two photographers to choose from, which is another wonderful convenience for couples.

She introduced herself to my husband and I separately and explained her part and our part for the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and Dona led it perfectly and with heart. She even took a photo of me in my dress and sent it to the boutique owner I got the dress from because they are friends, and I loved that so much!

Dona was fantastic. I don’t plan on getting married again, but if I did, I would definitely use her. She was very responsive, clear and intentional. She listened to what we wanted and was very accommodating. I would highly recommend her and love is a beach wedding.

She had answers to all our questions, helped us create our vows, and made suggestions on how to best create a wonderful ceremony with our specific venue, size and theme. Even with rainy weather she was able to pivot and make it a beautiful service without wavering. She truly was the key to our wedding ceremony actually taking place as scheduled. She even shared a story with all of us about how it is good luck when it rains on your wedding day. With all that goes in to planning a wedding Dona was one thing we never had to worry about. She’s the best.

We had a wonderful experience! Dona was so attentive and responsive throughout the process of planning and organizing our special day. Through her input, we were able to construct the perfect ceremony reflecting our personalities AND within our budget. Everything exceeded our expectations and went beautifully. As an already anxious person, Dona made everything seem easy, even for me. All aspects of the day were coordinated and communicated with vendors leaving us feeling supported, lessoning stress, and able to only focus on and enjoy our wedding day. Even the speed of which we received our license back deserves mentioning, I honestly expected weeks and it was just days after. We highly recommend using Love is a Beach wedding.

Me and my new wife 😁 couldn't have been better served. After 13 years together, we decided to get married before our cruise. Didn't think we had time to plan it but Dona made it happen. She did so much more than I expected including writing personal vows for us. Her enthusiasm was equal to ours and that also made it special. She really cares and enjoys her job. We both highly recommend her. Customer service like she provided us is rare these days. Thank you Dona for everything. You made our day so special and we are so happy you were a part of it.

We couldn’t ask for anyone better! Dona is the best. Everything was perfect. She was even the calm during the rain until it cleared out and we could continue with our beach wedding. She worked with the venue to allow for more time so the rain would clear out. Without Dona were wild have had to move inside. All her recommendations for hair and makeup, flowers and photography were perfect.
