Dona was a pro from start to finish. She had answers to all our questions, helped us create our vows, and made suggestions on how to best create a wonderful ceremony with our specific venue, size and theme. Even with rainy weather she was able to pivot and make it a beautiful service without wavering. She truly was the key to our wedding ceremony actually taking place as scheduled. She even shared a story with all of us about how it is good luck when it rains on your wedding day. With all that goes in to planning a wedding Dona was one thing we never had to worry about. We had a wonderful experience! Dona was so attentive and responsive throughout the process of planning and organizing our special day. Through her input, we were able to construct the perfect ceremony reflecting our personalities AND within our budget. Everything exceeded our expectations and went beautifully. As an already anxious person, Dona made everything seem easy, even for me. All aspects of the day were coordinated and communicated with vendors leaving us feeling supported, lessoning stress, and able to only focus on and enjoy our wedding day. Even the speed of which we received our license back deserves mentioning, I honestly expected weeks and it was just days after. We highly recommend using Love is a Beach wedding.

Me and my new wife 😁 couldn't have been better served. After 13 years together, we decided to get married before our cruise. Didn't think we had time to plan it but Dona made it happen. She did so much more than I expected including writing personal vows for us. Her enthusiasm was equal to ours and that also made it special. She really cares and enjoys her job. We couldn’t ask for anyone better! Dona is the best. Everything was perfect. She was even the calm during the rain until it cleared out and we could continue with our beach wedding. She worked with the venue to allow for more time so the rain would clear out. Without Dona were wild have had to move inside. All her recommendations for hair and makeup, flowers and photography were perfect.

Hurricanes Don’t Stop Weddings
The wedding we planned as a destination wedding could not have been more perfect! We had a hurricane hit on the Wednesday before our wedding! Dona put our minds at ease in every way possible. 40th Anniversary Vow Renewal
When I first thought of this celebration I had no idea how to pursue it or if anyone even did this. I went to Google and searched vow renewals in the Brevard County area and Dona Grigsby came up along with several others. I sent out several inquiries and she responded with her options the same day. She responded with a friendly atmosphere, her reply was very professional, listed several renewal options, plans, prices, was very familiar with the area we chose and immediately became my choice. She also recommended a photographer who she works with regularly and was awesome as well. We stayed in touch throughout the 5 month planning and worked together to choose the best ceremony. Both of us are so grateful for their services, really made it enjoyable and not just a sermon and will remember it forever!

The beach ceremony of our dreams!

Beautiful Breezy Day
I reached out to Dona because we wanted to plan a beach wedding, and from out of state. Dona spent time on the phone with me answering questions and listening to what my vision for the ceremony would entail. She was great at responding through email with important updates and info. In the contract for her services, there was a part that said that she would try her best to set up on the beach according to my wishes, but that sometimes the weather doesnt cooperate, and an alternate location has to be used instead. Our wedding day was beautiful, warm and clear, but as the day wore on the wind apeed increased. As we approached the beach, I was so very pleasantly surprised that she made the herculean effort to put up the arch and fabric. It looked awesome! Most importantly, Dona provided a beautiful intimate ceremony and beach wedding experience that we will cherish always.

Dona is Amazing!
Dona was a pleasure to work with when we planned our wedding! She was first off, one of the only people in the area that would set-up chairs on the beach (which apparently a lot of other vendors won't do.) She was also incredibly thoughtful with her ideas for how to set up our space, and demonstrated immense knowledge of best practices for the ceremony space. We, unfortunately, had to move locations fairly last minute due to a recent hurricane, and Dona was incredibly flexible and willing to assist with changing our initial vision from a beach wedding to a park wedding. The chairs that she provided were also beautiful and arranged in the perfect way for our ceremony. We couldn't recommend Dona enough for any of your events as she's truly a delight to work with!

Amazing Day, Love Is A Beach Wedding!
When my sister asked me to help her plan my niece's beach wedding, I looked long and hard for an amazing officiant. After reading tons of reviews of all the local wedding planners, I knew Dona was who we wanted. I called her to discuss and set the date, only to find out someone had called her earlier that day with the same wedding date. She agreed to do it if we used a venue south of where we were originally planning so she could do both weddings. She found the perfect place to hold the ceremony and reception and made sure the venue was available. She led us through the entire process and the result was a beautiful wedding on June 25th that none of us will ever forget. Thank you, Dona, for being you, and for giving Taylor and Sarah a wedding day full of memories that will last a lifetime.

Perfect wedding on the beach
Dona was absolutely amazing! She made planning a wedding in Florida from Ohio as easy as could be. Every detail was thought out and well executed. The colorful archway in our colors on a beautiful sandy beach to our seashell ceremony and thought out words that were kindly spoken as we united in our forever. Last minute ceremony
Dona saved the day for us ,,, our ceremony was originally scheduled on a boat and fell through at the last minute. Dona was able to schedule us within 5 days around her busy schedule.
After meeting us for a short time and telling our story she wrote the perfect vows for us. Dona helped coordinate the photographer and venue (Beachside Hilton) to reschedule to do a beach photo shoot as well since our original ceremony got rained out! Dona did an outstanding job and I (we) would highly recommend her!

A True Gem 💎
The weather was suppose to rain and be windy on my wedding day. Dona kept track of the weather because we wanted to marry on the beach. I wanted to hold out on getting an inside venue hopping the weather would change. Dona definitely knew best and convinced me to have a backup venue. And I am ever so grateful that she did. We married inside because the wind was over 20 mph. Thankfully no rain and we were still able to take some fantastic pictures on the beach. We all loved Dona.

Dona is the BEST!!!
I contacted Dona at Love is a Beach Wedding when my son and his fiancée decided due to Covid-19 restrictions to postpone the large wedding they've been planning for a year and get married on the original date in a small beach wedding ceremony/reception. From the first conversation, Dona proved to be a true delight to work with! She is professional, responsive, detail oriented, reliable and a fountain of helpful information (recommending each of the vendors including the venue, catering, florist, bakery, photographers, hair & makeup, etc.)! Dona's vast experience was evident throughout the planning process, even checking the sunset and tide to determine the ideal timing for "golden hour"! She can provide everything necessary for the perfect wedding, including arches and chairs as well as gorgeous decor to execute your wedding vision! The wedding was perfect - a joyous ceremony with loving and meaningful vows, followed by a delicious and fun-filled reception! We were fortunate to find Dona (she even filed the marriage license while the newlyweds were on their honeymoon) and will all cherish the memories of this special wedding that Dona orchestrated for our family!

Amazing Day!
Dona was wonderful , starting with the first email. She helped calm a nervous groom and managed my group with high needs teens and toddlers. Everything was perfect and she was so helpful!

Amazing experience
Donna and her team we hands down amazing. We had to cancel our wedding in Vegas last minute trying to plan a small wedding in little under a month. Donna helped me get everything squared away quickly and stress free. Her and her team are absolutely amazing. Highly, highly recommend.

Amazing work

Perfection!
My, now wife, and I found Dona on here and immediately had the "warm and fuzzies" meeting with her. She's extremely knowledgeable, experienced, kind, patient, fun, and all around a great person. She, literally, held our hands and walked us through everything. We had little to no idea what we were doing and she directed everything perfectly. She helped us with a decorator, Jessica, who just blew our minds with how amazing our venue looked. Highly recommend Dona and Jessica to anyone looking for professional wedding needs or help!

Dona worked tirelessly to make sure our “big” day was perfect!
I had contacted Love is a Beach Wedding about 5 or 6 weeks prior to the date we already had our hearts set on. It was a popular date... (10/10/20) and with a lot of help from Dona and constant communication about times, venues and cancellations she made our dreams come true. Day of the wedding was a little stressful as we wanted to get married outside on a grassy area overlooking the ocean. It poured all day, again Dona was in constant contact. As if on cue 30 mins prior to the final decorations being put on our wedding arch, the sky’s parted and the sun came out. It was a gorgeous ceremony and a beautiful event!! We highly recommend Dona and her team of professionals!! Everything was so seamless!!

The Perfect Officiant
We were so impressed with Dona as our officiant. She has such a huge variety of personal vows to choose from and once we chose one she allowed us to make changes and insert ideas without any problems. When she did our ceremony it went perfectly. Listening to her was very easy on the ears and she made everything flow right on time. We had to postpone our wedding from April to October and she was flexible with our schedule. I just cant say enough about her professional presence from the moment she arrived at our venue until we received our signed marriage license after returning from our honeymoon.

Vow Renewal.
Dona was absolutely amazing in doing our vow renewal on the beach on a hot summer morning. It was everything we expected and just so beautiful! She was extremely responsive when I’d send an email before the ceremony, and she pulled it all off without a hitch. I highly recommend Dona - she loves what she does and it shows.

Dona is absolutely the best officiate! Two weeks before our 25th wedding renewal we found that we needed a new officiate and Dona came through for us. She came recommended and How thankful we were for her. She gave outstanding service and kept in contact throughout the process, helped us with our questions and with quick responses. She wanted to get to know who we were and what we wanted our ceremony to be. She provided many options and came through with exactly that. We cannot praise her enough.

What a life saver!
Dona was so sweet and caring from the beginning, we are from St. Louis and she is the reason we decided to get married in Melbourne of all places in Florida. When I initially spoke to her on the phone I knew that she was who we wanted to officiate our wedding! She was very organized and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The week of the wedding we had several problems arise with the pandemic but she guided us flawlessly through every issue and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful ceremony. Thank you for all you did to make our day as perfect as possible!
