Hello, We are Michael & Courtney Ray- a husband and wife photography team based out of Birmingham, Alabama, but we LOVE to travel! We have a passion for wedding photography!

We spend our weekends with the most wonderful people on the most beautiful day of their lives! We have known each other for nearly 10 years and work very well together. We like to think of ourselves as story tellers, we find so much joy in celebrating with our couples and capturing their story so they can share the images from their wedding day for years to come.

Priding ourselves in being personable with our couples, we hope to bring a confidence and calmness to your big day with a touch of fun as we celebrate with you and your families.

The greatest

They are on top of everything even offer to help you with day of coordination. They have questionnaires to fill out prior to help your wedding day to go as smoothly as possible, and of course their photographs are amazing which is why I hired them!

Best wedding photographers in bham

Courtney and Michael were the most amazing people to work with on our wedding day! We received a free engagement session with our package. So we were able to get to know them more and they could learn more about mine and my husband's personalities before the big day. They were SO accommodating and were willing to do anything and everything to make sure we got all of the images we wanted. They were so fun to work with and they captured absolutely every moment that we wanted at our wedding! Also, their turn around time is insanely quick! We received our wedding images only 3 weeks after our wedding.

You HAVE TO to hire Courtney and Michael for your wedding!!

I cannot begin to say enough about this wonderful couple. They were outstanding on the day of our daughter's wedding. Courtney and Michael went above and beyond our high expectations. They thought of every detailed and did everything with a smile and just so precious! They are not only professional, but they became a part of our family and captured each sweet moment shared between our daughter and son-in-law as well as those between each family member. If you need a photographer, look no further! Love Behind the Lens are in an elite category! I can't thank them enough for capturing each and every moment of Kasey and Matt's wedding!

Courtney and Michael did both our engagement session and our wedding day pictures, and the photos are absolutely stunning. They were so much fun to work with, and really put my husband and I at ease in front of the camera (a place neither of us is very comfortable). We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of an engagement or wedding photographer!

Michael and Courtney were the absolute BEST photographers! They were professional, but also made us feel comfortable while we were taking pictures. They captured everything that was so wonderful about our big day and were so kind!
