Cole Davis Photo & Film is a photography business in Birmingham, Alabama, dedicated to wedding days and special occasions of all kinds.

I never set out to simply take beautiful wedding photos.

Over the last decade, I've discovered that the photographs people treasure most aren't the perfectly posed ones—they're the moments that remind them how it all felt. A father sees his daughter in her dress for the first time. A quiet prayer before the ceremony. The laughter that erupts during a toast. The tears no one expected.
Those are the moments that matter.

Photography has given me the privilege of stepping into some of life's most meaningful days, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to serve every couple with excellence, helping them feel comfortable enough to be fully present while I quietly document the story unfolding around them.

When I'm not photographing weddings, I have the privilege of teaching photography and visual storytelling as a senior professor at Highlands College in Birmingham, Alabama. Helping students grow in both their technical skills and creative vision continually sharpens my own approach behind the camera. It's a reminder that great photography isn't just about knowing your equipment—it's about learning to see people well.

My faith has shaped the way I view marriage. I believe it's one of God's greatest gifts—a covenant worth celebrating and preserving. That perspective influences everything I do, from the way I care for my couples to the way I tell their story with honesty, beauty, and intention.
My style is natural, timeless, and cinematic. I want your photographs and films to feel just as genuine fifty years from now as they do today. Trends come and go, but authentic moments never lose their value.

At the end of the day, my hope is simple: that when you look back at your wedding, you won't just remember what it looked like—you'll remember what God was doing in that season of your life, the people who stood beside you, and the promises that began your marriage.
