Love at First Bite is a professional wedding cake service located in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and founded in 2013 by the cake designer Naydimar Vázquez. Naydimar was chemistry teacher who decided to quit everything for the love of cakes and the bakistry.

Love at First Bite bakes vegan treats from scratch using high quality local ingredients and the flavors of the island. At Love at First Bite, they believe that the wedding cake is a reflection of both of you, and this is the reason we only create unique designs for each couple. We don't make replicas of another cake designers.

Love at First Bite specializes in the latest and trending techniques. They can provide custom vegan cakes, from ganache cakes to fondant cakes. The flavors and fillings can be mixed and matched to your liking. They can also provide cake stands and toppers. From the moment I contacted Naydimar, she was nothing but the best! Planning a destination wedding can be stressful when you are unsure of the vendor you are paying for. She mailed us cake samples that were still fresh once we received them if she had baked them just that day. She was prompt with delivery and we were so happy with the final presentation. Not to mention we got rave reviews from our guests about the taste! Definitely would recommend her to anyone in Puerto Rico or coming to Puerto Rico for an event!

Naydimar sent us our cake tasting in the mail because we are planning a destination wedding! Even after a couple days in transit the cake was amazing. Her flavors are excellent and the cake is very moist. Can't wait for a slice of our cake in February!
