Such amazing work! Not only is their photography so unique, but as humans they are so lovely to work with. We have their artwork in our home and were so pleased how our photography turned out. Highly recommend!!

Shawn and Adam were wonderful to work with! Shawn was always very quick to respond and provided a ton of helpful details regarding the shoot, and Adam made sure that we felt comfortable and had fun during the session! Love and Water did our engagement pictures, as well as our wedding day photos. One of our best wedding decisions! I originally was just following them on Instagram and just in love with their style and beautiful ocean photos. Then my husband and I decided to get married in Maui, and I couldn't imagine choosing anyone else to capture our love!

Adam did our engagement photos. Right away, my husband and I felt that Adam was very friendly and easy-going. I am not a person who is comfortable in front of the camera, but Adam gave subtle direction and helped us feel more relaxed in front of the camera. He knows what moments to capture and what angles to use. Needless to say, when we got our engagement pictures, we were more than ecstatic! We used the photos for our save the dates as well as our wedding invitations. Nothing but compliments from our family and friends :)

Shawn & Adam did our wedding day photos! What a spectacular wife and husband duo. They captured special moments and details. Luckily for us, there was a double rainbow on our special day, and they captured one of our favorite pictures of the day of us and the double rainbow. Everyone isn't kidding when they say your wedding day flies by, so I wasn't even aware there was a double rainbow! When we received our wedding pictures, each picture was surreal and magical. From our wedding party photos to candid dancing photos, we loved every single one of our photos! I would recommend Love and Water to everyone and anyone!

I found Love + Water on The Knot a few years ago when my sister was getting married. I wanted to get their information in case my sister wanted a shoot on her honeymoon. She ended up not needing their services, though I held onto their info because I knew I would use them while I was on my honeymoon in a few years. My now hubby and I didn't even have plane tickets to Hawaii yet and I had already booked the session with Shawn & Adam. Shawn was responsive and easy to speak to and helped answer all my questions while Adam did an incredible job photographing us in the water. As a photographer, I know how important photos are to me, and I knew I wanted this experience documented. Shawn and Adam made it happen, and since then, the amount of amazing things that have been said about the photos is incredible and encouraging. Not many of my friends and family thought to do that on their honeymoon and they certainly wish they had. I came home from my honeymoon on a friday and we had our photos back by the following Tuesday! Talk about a turn around! Thank you so much to Shawn and Adam for making a memory of my honeymoon that will last a lifetime!

From the very beginning, Adam & Shawn were flexible with phone meetings (which is great when there is a 4 hour time difference) and made us feel 100% confident in our choice to hire them as our photographers. They both had such a calming demeanor on the day of the wedding, which made our entire wedding party feel relaxed. Many guests even said, “We didn’t even notice you had photographers!” because, although they provided us with the most AMAZING photos (I will get to that later), they were never overbearing of any moments. Now to discuss the photos, we could not be happier with the way they turned out. From beach to greenery to lava rock to water, they provided us with the most stunning scenic pictures, but also provided us with intimate photos that captured our emotions and memories of the day perfectly. There was no detail of the wedding that was left out. We would recommend them to absolutely anyone who was questioning a photographer in Hawaii.
We also did a Land, Sea & Air session with Adam a few days after the wedding, and (no surprise here) the photos were incredible. Once again, Adam made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and it was a memory that we won’t soon forget.

Their work speaks for itself. It's light, bright, and ethereal. The colors pop. Their artistic style was exactly what we envisioned for our big day. Our wedding day was truly magical and they captured so many candid moments of laughter and heartfelt tears. And to top it all off, Shawn and Adam are such nice people. We were lucky enough to meet Adam 8 months prior on a wedding planning trip to Maui. We already loved their portfolio but getting to know Adam sealed the deal. On the day of they were so sweet and calming and just did their magic, quietly. We couldn't be happier with the results. I just look at the pics and reliving the day still brings out the tears. The collection of pics we ended up with tell a story without the need for words. It's beautiful.

My husband and I were overjoyed when Adam and Shawn agreed to shoot our wedding in Maui. We shot our wedding and we also did an underwater shoot with Adam. Their work is so incredible. No one does pictures like them and their work is absolutely beautiful. In addition, they are fantastic to work with.

Choosing a wedding photographer is different than selecting other vendors, because in addition to their reviews and examples of their work, you have to really like them as people. We considered several photographers for our Maui wedding and no one had work as unique and gorgeous as Love and Water. In addition, after our first meeting with Shawn and Adam, they were the type of people we could imagine hanging out with and our wedding day was more special because of them. No one can capture a sunset the way Shawn and Adam can, so much so that now whenever my husband and I see a stunning sunset, we call it “a Love and Water sunset.”

We also did an underwater shoot with Adam. He made us feel so comfortable and we had a great time. We also loved the preview shot he sent us later that day. We can’t wait to surprise our friends and family and reveal all of the final pictures to them.

We can’t wait to come back to Hawaii to shoot maternity, family and any other excuse we can think of in the future to get more Love and Water pictures taken.

Adam is a true artist. My husband and I could not have found a better photographer for our wedding day. Working with him was a very unique experience as we jumped in the water the get the perfect picture of us on the lava rocks looking up from the ocean, it was great! His angles and prospective on photography makes him one-of-a-kind. We loved working with Love and Water, had a phenomonal experience, and was provided with excellent customer service. Money well spent. They are great! So happy we found them for our destination wedding.

We absolutely love our photos! If want someone who captures where you are and in the moment shots! Love and water are your go to! We have so many amazing shots we had the hardest time picking a main picture to hang! My family said our wedding photos were to perfect, that they looked like the insert picture when you buy a frame and you don't want to take the picture out! Lol we a truly blessed that they moved to Maui and could shoot our wedding! Pure perfection!

This husband and wife team are simply the best! They were so professional and well organized leading up to the event. At the event they were professional and super sweet! They were great at blending into the party but stepping up when they knew a great shot needed to be held. They were quick with getting the photos to us and their work is simply stunning!!! We also used them for a trash the dress session and I couldn't be happier with the results. These two are something special!!
