Lotus Events was in charge of getting a projector setup during our wedding reception, and I wanted to specifically call out Jeremy for going above and beyond! There were some issues with outlet capacity and power delivery to the projector unit as Jeremy was setting up, but he was able to work through the issues and get everything up and running.

That’s not the best part, though. Jeremy came back later that evening (once it was a little bit darker) to make sure that the projector was displaying our video correctly! I didn’t think Jeremy had to do that, but he did and our wedding planner went out of her way to let me know how he came back.

In short, Lotus Events and Jeremy were great and went above and beyond to help us out on our special day!

We booked Lotus Event Pros as our wedding DJ/MC plus lighting services, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled by them! From start to finish, Scott was incredibly communicative and attentive to every detail involved for the day. I was impressed by what Scott and his crew knew to account for, which speaks well to their experience and expertise in the industry. Our guests commented on how smoothly our wedding ran, and we can honestly attribute much of that to Lotus Event Pros being a part of our amazing vendor team. As our DJ/MC, Scott maintained good control over the pacing of our program, and he engaged our guests well, including for our shoe game which I gave little direction on, but Scott ran with it and maintained a fun vibe. He also absolutely brought the energy needed for our open dance portion. The dance floor was never seen empty at any point, as Scott understood well from our discussions and notes taken prior but more importantly, he could read the room. Our guests still comment on how much they had a blast that night. We highly recommend Lotus Event Pros for any event entertainment needs and hope to book them again for future special occasions!

Scott had given us a planner (i.e. "homework") that took a while to get started, but we managed to fill it out and meet with him a month from the wedding. He also doubles as an MC and has previously MC'ed for Chinese/Vietnamese weddings. He did offer to refer another Vietnamese-fluent MC for our wedding should we need one, but we didn't need one in the end.

He was accommodating to our request to have open karaoke in lieu of dancing by providing a microphone and monitor. He even cooperated with one of our relatives who would bring a karaoke machine in a specific foreign languages. At the very least, we were happy with the option to have open karaoke where guests can give him a song and he can pull up karaoke Youtube videos at no charge.
