The venue itself is gorgeous and wowed all of our friends and family. And for a location in downtown Los Angeles, you really can't beat the price.
The only reason I give it such a low rating is because the venue coordinator, Debbie, is... immensely unpleasant to deal with. She loses documents (even when attached to an e-mail thread she's replying to), tries to go back on verbal promises until reminded that verbal contracts are still legally binding, and at the wedding itself she was yelling at our other vendors and surly to the guests. She also yelled at the groom three times on the wedding night and kept questioning him as to who he was and why he was in the library (Despite him repeatedly introducing himself as the groom. And he was wearing a tux that matched the groomsmen.). I was originally going to hire a wedding coordinator for just the day of the wedding, but realized just after signing the contract with Debbie that I would not be able to deal with her leading up to the wedding and keep my sanity.
I LOVE the architecture and decor of the library, all other library staff was wonderful, but I couldn't recommend the venue without them replacing their venue coordinator.
