We looked long and hard for the perfect photographer for our wedding. I'm an avid photographer myself, and my then-fiance has a very discerning eye for good photography as well.

So we stumbled upon Lori Gail's blog, and just stopped our search right there. She knows good photography, great angles, how to use light, and amazing composition.

We chose to do a 1 hour engagement shoot with Lori and her assistant Sarah, before our wedding. She came to Philly, we had a nice chat over coffee about our vision for the event. We showed her some example pictures of pictures we liked so she could get a feel for our style.

On the wedding day, Lori was extremely professional. We had multiple things going on - tea ceremony in the morning at our home, pictures once we arrived at the venue, ceremony, more pictures during cocktail hour, and then the reception. Lori and Sarah was capturing everything, almost non-stop. She was great with the family pictures as well, posing everyone quickly and efficiently.

Lori captures the poignant moments that, for me, tell the story of our two families coming together to celebrate our marriage. Her portraits are breathtaking, but it's the photos of the incidental interactions that I especially treasure. Lori is responsive, flexible, careful, considerate, and a wonderful person.
