When looking for a caterer for our wedding, we were very particular about allergens, specifically finding menu options that were dairy-free, gluten-free. After our first caterer fell through we started the search again and found Longhorn Barbeque, and boy are we happy we did.
As the bride it was important to me that the food at the wedding wasn't normal "wedding food", and would be something I was actually excited to eat. For our summer, outdoor wedding BBQ seemed like the perfect fit.
We order pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches, which came with our choice of three sides and made a complete meal. Longhorn had a food truck so they were able to store, prep, and serve all the food onsite. They had servers to watch and stock the buffet line, and had the hot food ready to go on time. The best part was that people could eat as much as they wanted, none of that " one scoop of this and two pieces of that per person'' nonsense.
BBQ may have been an unconventional option for a wedding, but all of our 180 guests enjoyed the food, and we loved the price. It was a great value and I would recommend them highly!
