If you are looking for a place with old farmhouse charm surrounded by beautiful nature, this is it! Longacre house is the perfect place for smaller wedding ceremonies or events. It’s decor makes it feel more like your home away from home and provides a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff at Longacre house is very courteous and took time to show us around the space. The reservation price is reasonable and you can also rent a sound system through the venue. Longacre uses Gourmet Express catering for all events, but do not let that dissuade you. Gourmet Express has a great variety of food at a fair price and provided excellent food and service at our wedding. Longacre also has centerpieces and room decor that you can use for your event upon request.

This is the only venue my husband and I looked at, and the second we saw the house and surrounding property, we knew this was the place to start our new life together. The house is BEAUTIFUL. Pictures online do not do it justice. The house holds about 120-130 max, and was perfect for our wedding of 110. The great thing was after dinner, people were mingling about the rooms and the gardens. It felt like an elegant house party, which was refreshing from the usual banquet-style weddings. Countless numbers of people told us how lovely and different the wedding was. I wish we could get re-married there every year!

My June wedding reception was at the Longacre House and it was perfect. The house is so unique and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. Many of my guests were so shocked that a place like this existed, with its romantic and intimate interior and beautifully manicured grounds. If you are having a smaller wedding (I had 110) and you want something different from the normal banquet halls and golf course ballrooms I would encourage you to go to the Longacre House. It was one of the best decisions I made.

Amazing venue

This is a gorgeous venue! The price is more than fair and the scenery is gorgeous if you are able to have your wedding outdoors. They do have an indoor space that is beautiful as well. It’s hard to come across a ceremony venue that doesn’t make you also host the reception, but at longacre they have a ceremony only option. The staff was friendly and helpful and very accommodating to special requests.

Overall the house is beautiful and the people who work there are lovely. They have a beautiful upstairs suit area for the bride and bridesmaids to change, and a room for the guys, as well a small library on the main level which often houses the bar, we used this room for our open photo booth. My main problem with the house mainly stemmed with the catering service. You are only allowed to use the catering service they provide. Although the catering service was indeed very helpful and detailed oriented we were not wowed with the food, it wasn't terrible, just ordinary and over seasoned. If you are a foody, consider Cafecortina is just around the corner and they have a beautiful area for dinner.

The Longacre House is an absolutely beautiful site to be married!! We loved the grounds of the home as the backdrop for our outdoor summer ceremony. We rented the house for the entire day so we could get dressed there and take pre-ceremony pictures. The house is old and does not have central air, but they do have many window air conditioners which helped cool us on a very hot and humid summer day. The bridal suite was beautiful and the groom's room was charming. The staff was generally very quick to respond to my emails and overall they were very nice to work with. There was some minor confusion the night of the rehearsal, when we paid extra to have the rehearsal there and was originally told we could tour the house at 7pm. When we went to show the bridal party the inside of the house, we were told we were not allowed to enter because there was a piano lesson going on. This completely contradicted what we had been told prior. We just had to wait a few minutes and then were allowed to take the tour of the inside. Other than that, the staff was friendly and cooperative. The price is a little on the high side, but in the end it was worth it for us.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
