My wife and I relocated back to Lake Havasu City at the end of 2021, and we wanted to celebrate our wedding in the city we loved with the people we loved. Our main desires for a venue included reasonable pricing, beautiful views, great food and an overall “Havasu” experience. After touring multiple venues in the Lake Havasu City area, we decided to hold our wedding ceremony and reception at the Convention Center at the London Bridge Resort, and all we can say after celebrating our big day is, “wow!” We had the picture-perfect wedding day at the picture-perfect venue that really captured the beauty, hospitality and feel of Lake Havasu City.

To begin, we can’t be more satisfied with the attention to detail and quick responses by our venue coordinator, Suzanne. From the onset of our conversations with Suzanne, we felt supported and comfortable with any and all inquiries we had regarding the venue and amenities offered. We would send emails to Suzanne and leave her voicemails on a weekly basis, and she would always respond in a timely manner (usually within a few hours on any given day). This is extremely impressive given the fact that Suzanne has an extremely hefty workload hosting other events at the London Bridge Resort. All the way up until and through our wedding day, Suzanne was right by our side ensuring all facets of the event were on time while also making us as comfortable as possible in such a nerve-wrecking day. The attentiveness and friendly attitude were also consistently on display with the rest of the staff at the venue.

We decided to perform a Waltz for the first dance and my wife and father-in-law decided to choreograph a dance mash-up for their father-daughter dance. Given our anxiety with performing the dances correctly, we asked if we could practice in the venue on the dance floor a few days before the wedding day. The London Bridge Staff were welcoming and allowed us to use the dance floor (provided there were no other events that day) to practice our moves. They were so kind and we even developed somewhat of a cheering section every time we completed our practice routine. On our big day, the same staff approached us after the party began and congratulated us on our marriage and even approved of our dances. We truly enjoyed these interactions and it made us feel all the more at home with the wonderful hospitality.

Speaking of being at home, what better way to commemorate a Havasu wedding than with the beautiful gazebo, palm trees and London Bridge as a backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The way the sun sets behind the landscape and scenery gives off a glow that makes for great photos – both before and after the ceremony. There are also plenty of photo opportunities for the wedding party around the venue, including on or near the London Bridge, in the Bridgewater Channel, near the Gazebo and on the golf course just next to the Gazebo. The facilities are extremely clean and kept in great condition, so you can be assured that your guests and wedding party will be impressed by everything from the outdoor area, to the bar and, yes, even the bathrooms.

Another deciding factor that led us to choosing the London Bridge Resort was the fantastic food options. After reviewing the options on the menu, we asked Suzanne if we could setup a taste test and she coordinated a date and time for us to sample items with the head chef for the resort. Although we limited our menu due to a tight budget, we couldn’t have been more impressed with the quality, taste and amount of food. We chose a buffet style (highly recommended) menu with chicken marsala and a prime rib carving station. All of the guests we spoke to said they devoured their plates and were hoping for seconds, and I’d have to say me and my wife would have definitely reloaded our plates if we weren’t so busy talking to our guests. The food was so good that we have regularly returned to the Martini Bay Restaurant at the London Bridge Resort just so we can re-order some of the items we had at our wedding!

We were very surprised by how cost effective the London Bridge Resort was, especially given the beauty of the venue and the quality of the food. The price we paid for the entire wedding day (ceremony and reception venue, table decorations, and food) was close to the price we would have paid just for the venue at comparable wedding venues in the area. After having the wedding experience of a lifetime, we were even more surprised by how (relatively) little we paid.

Overall, we couldn’t have picked a better place to start our marriage and we would highly recommend the London Bridge Resort to any couples looking to get married in the Lake Havasu City area!

Their banquet team is amazing. I work in hospitality myself and had HIGH expectations from them. They met ALL of my expectations and more. Jenefer and Suzanne were ALWAYS quick to respond to all of my emails and any questions I had. They also went OUT of their way to make sure that they knew EVERY detail of our wedding day. The price was VERY reasonable and we got a lot for our money. The day of our wedding, the banquet team helped coordinate EVERYTHING, from the walk down the aisle to showing the guests how to get to the reception area. We got married at their gazebo which overlooks Lake Havasu and the London Bridge, it's also outdoors and was just BEAUTIFUL. We did a buffet for the reception dinner. We did the prime rib and herb roasted chicken. The food was SOOOOO good! Everyone RAVED about the food! Definitely an amazing venue for a destination wedding and also the price wasn't too extreme. Would HIGHLY reccommend this venue to any bride looking to get married in Havasu. Our day was PERFECT!

Over all an amazing day! Everything went as smoothly as possible. It turned out great.
