I cannot recommend Lola Grace Photography enough. Hannah is an outstanding photographer and a glowingly warm person. She was kind, professional, incredibly fast, and just a complete pleasure to work with. She has a true gift for capturing the essence of a moment. Her work is INCREDIBLE. She was able to move seamlessly through very crowded and small spaces like hospital rooms, hallways etc. making it all look gorgeous without us even noticing she was there. She captured the event better than my memory could have. This past January my little sister and her boyfriend got engaged. In February, our mom was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and immediately hospitalized and given chemotherapy at the U of M hospital. This was a shock to my family and my sister, who immediately realized that her “dream wedding” in Upstate New York was not going to be possible this year. My sister called me on a Tuesday and said “I think Jake and I are going to get married this weekend when you’re in town.” We thus launched on a very quick wedding planning quest. My aunt called another photographer in Ann Arbor who put the request out to a group of photographers and Hannah responded immediately. She was already spending lots of time at the adjacent hospital with her incredible daughter, Simone. She was so compassionate and as soon as I talked to her we knew it would be perfect. At the wedding day she blended in like part of the family. She also took only 3 days to get us complete pictures! The shots she took were nothing short of incredible. She dealt with small spaces, whacky lighting and other oddities of the hospital setting like it was no big deal. She made hallways look gorgeous. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with this business. She has a rare combination of heart and skill and you won’t regret working with her.
