Awesome venue - great people to work with. The place is beautiful!

Joyce and Dean are wonderful people and the Lodge at Keen Lake is by FAR and AWAY the BEST, most unique, beautiful wedding venue in NEPA. Joyce was super attentive the entire planning process and eased my mind and had gave useful input. Everything about our weekend was phenomenal. The accommodations are five-star. I would do it all over again, again, and again, in a heartbeat. I never dreamed of my wedding day from when I was a little girl, but I think about it ALL THE TIME - because it was truly the best day ever. My guests were wow-ed, and to this day, almost 9 months later, they are still talking about it. I highly suggest you look no further for a place to remember forever.

Everyone who was present at our son's wedding felt that the Lodge was a perfect place. it is beautiful, the facilites are wonderful and the care and concern of the family who provides all the services was terrific.

My fiance and I were looking for a distinctive place for our outdoor wedding. From the minute we met Dean and Joyce and got our first view of the lodge, I knew we found the right place. The lodge itself is beautiful, and the customer service is dynamite! Dean and Joyce are so accommodating and knowledgeable about the different vendors in the area. When my photographer needed curtains for the photo booth area, Dean gave him a hand. When my caterer discovered I didn't order enough tables, Joyce handled it. We didn't even know about it till after the wedding. In addition, the lodging available for guests is a great. All of my family and friends who stayed there raved about how beautiful it was and again noted the friendliness of Joyce and Dean.
While our wedding was outside the lodge on their field (because of the number of people), we were so much in love with the place that I had both my wedding and baby shower there as well!

I can not say enough good things about the Lodge! Not only is the place beautiful inside as well as the outdoor surroundings, but Joyce and her husband Dean could not be more helpful.
We were looking for a different wedding than the cookie cutter, hall, banquet type and this was the perfect match all the way around.

Joyce has a tasteful eye for suggestions and has wonderful caterer recommendations as well.
The place is top notch all the way around; she was always quick to respond to any questions that I had, and I had a lot!
I was totally at ease the day of our wedding and I have received countless complements on how great the day was and how beautiful the place was.

This past July we had our wedding at the Lodge. We got married on the grounds, and had our reception in the Lodge. In addition, we filled every unit with guests. We could not have found a more perfect place! From the first meeting to the day we checked out, Joyce and Dean were professional, friendly, helpful and fun. They met with us and went over all our options, and then really let us craft our own unique day. When we asked if we could have our ceremony on the path in the woods, a new location on the grounds, they went to work to make sure the landscape was trim and ready for our guests. In the lodge they gave great suggestions on how best to use the space, and local (and amazing) vendors to for rentals and flowers. During our reception, our guests kept commenting on how beautiful, comfortable, and intimate the setting was – and we only decorated the tables. Everything else was already there! They even lent us batteries when our batteries in our photobooth camera died so that we wouldn’t have to run out.
On top of this, the units were perfect. Our guests (coming in from NYC) couldn’t believe how nice they were. One month later my friends are suggesting trips up to visit so they can stay in those condo units again.
Full units with guests that came early and stayed late and a wedding that filled their space to capacity must have been a lot to handle, but if it was they never let on. I wish we could do it all over again! We will definitely use the Lodge in the future when family comes to visit or when we have a new event to celebrate. I can’t recommend them more highly for your special event – or even a weekend away!
